Dutch Passion Ortega Indica and CBD Kush SCROG under a GN Rebel

Day 70/38

Things are going pretty well, no surprises so far. I'm trying to push them a bit more this grow so I've let them get closer to the light, it's now around 35cm away, and upped the nutes a bit more. Last feeding was with 3/5 bloom nutes, full dose of PK and some epsom salts.
The buds are starting to swell and the smell is starting to come in as well. At the moment it's a quite sweet fruity smell. They're also starting to get sticky I noticed as I moved some buds around.

I let some of the buds around the edge grow a bit taller. I think I will try to do that even more in the future. I believe I could squeeze a bit more out of the light by letting the outer row of buds get taller so they get more side light and don't get blocked by the buds in the middle.

Even though I cut away a bunch of tops it''s still pretty dense in there. If I would have let them grow naturally they would have been around 70-80cm tall at the moment.

CBD#1 coming along nicely, starting to see a bit of frost on the leaves.

CBD#2 is a little behind but is starting to swell up as well.

That one mean bush you got there dirty one dense canopy. Make sure them fans never go off dude when you have so much foliage in one spot mold can happen a lot easier. Funny the strains you've chosen I've been looking at them mostly the indica but haven't bought any yet because it's meant to yeild small but what it does yeild I've heard its grade A stuff

Nice looking crop dirty.

Thanks man, I appreciate that!

Thanks mate! I'll have to keep an eye out for mold. I had some issues last grow but it was in summer and humidity was 60-70% for long periods of time. Now that the colder weather is coming in I should be able to keep it around 40-45%.
Unfortunately I had some germination issues with the Ortegas and I ran out of seeds so I had to replace it with a Blueberry instead.

DB, you are a micro god! That little tent looks like it could burst and good idea about letting outside buds get taller... I'm really considering a photo grow soon so i can get that sort of control. Love it dude, I've said it before but you are an inspiration when it comes to getting a great yield from a small space! Looking forward to seeing these beauties mature.
:kusht:

They look bang on bro.

Thanks a lot Dread and thanks for the rep! You definitely have more control over the size of the plants with photos although I think it would be possible to get similar results with an auto strain. It's probably easier if it's a strain you're familiar with so you have a rough idea of how big it gets and how many to put in a given area. I'm also looking forward to seeing them swell up, especially since the CBD Kush stash is getting low. I've burned through it faster than expected :smoke:

They look bang on bro.

Thanks bro, I really appreciate that, especially coming from someone with your skills.

looks great budster. Indeed, the buds around the edge of the grow can be allowed to stretch up if you prefer. What some of the old school might call a 'bowl of green'

Thanks Tony! A bowl of green will be my goal for next grow. This time it was mostly unintentional. When I saw a small ball of pistils form I stopped training them as that's usually when the stretch slows down or stops but CBD#2 kept stretching for a few more days so I ended up with a few colas above the others.

Day 77/45

The buds started to swell up nicely. I noticed a tiny bit of tip burn so I backed off the nutes a little. Last feeding was with 3/5 bloom, 4/5 PK and epsom salts. I think next feeding I will go down with the base nutes to 2/5 as I don't think they need a lot of nitrogen at this point. Apart from some minor adjustments I'm just letting them grow as they please.
I've noticed that 3 days between waterings is a bit too long for the CBD Kush's. They're slightly droopy and the leaves feel a bit floppy but after 2 days the pots are still too heavy so I thought I could give them a small amount of pHed water at day 2 after watering just to hold them over until the next day. I'm not sure if that's a good idea or not but I'm giving it a try.

I might have to put up some string in the front as the buds started flopping out when I open the tent.

Blueberry

The blueberry has really picked up the pace and is swelling up quickly. It really likes to grow fan leaves on long stems so the colas take up quite a lot of space.

CBD Kush #1

Starting to get sticky. I really like the smell it leaves on your fingers after moving them around. Lovely sweet resin smell.

CBD Kush #2

#2 was running a bit behind but is starting to catch up.

Finally a shot below the screen. It's a bit messy as they grew pretty tall so I had to criss cross the stems to fit them in. The blueberry grew a surprisingsly thick stem considering it only had 3 weeks of veg.
