Grow Mediums One waterfarm, 2 autocobs, and a 150hps. Double Grape!

Do you clean and soak them pebbles in hot 5.0 PH water before use Kyle?

Yessir, water wasn't hot, and was about 5.25, but I did make the effort. I have had this happen for years, and have always wondered if it has more to do with a weak starting nute mix, than the Hydroton. Starting with RO water, and a low ppm mix, there is nothing to buffer the solution. Either way, I just adjust it twice a day, and figure it will stabilize when I get up to 7-800 ppm. I have been adjusting to 5.25, and letting it swing to 6.5. should cover most of the range of absorption, that way.
That's my theory, at least. But you know what they say about theories. Lol.
Regards, Kyle

Yeah that's weird. I had the the same problem but with well water and creek water, it didn't matter. Hot water seemed to help a little.

Day 9,
Zero drama, so far. PH rises predictably to 6.4, and I set it back to 5.5ish. PPM is stable at 400, rising to 500 between top ups with plain RO.

Humidity is still a challenge, but holding it's own around 40%.
This is the part of a grow that drives me nuts. Waiting, watching... It's hard to be patient...
Thanks for looking.

Haha! Enjoy!

I have nothing growing at the moment and am a wreck! Need something to oogle and fuss over!

Yeah, she's tilted a bit. Makes no sense to me whatsoever. Light is directly above, and I even rotated the waterfarm so the fan would lift it slightly. No luck. At least when I start LST in another week or so, I know which way to start the bend..
