New Grower Ok, ive been debating it, but heres my 1st grow journal.

Looking good growbrowan. Looks like the one has some canoeing going on but her buds look very nice. Coming down the home stretch bro. A couple weeks and you'll be trimming till your fingers hurt. I'm excited for you man. How's the new shift going? Is it killing ya or are you getting used to it now? I used to do swing shifts years ago I couldn't stand it. 1 weeks 3-11 next week 11-7, 7-3 and so on. Drove me batty. By the Way, how old are them girls?

im still not used to the shift..got me beat...plus when i get home im mr mom all day with my 3 yr old..im getting about 3 hours of sleep a night. anyhow, im at day 57 i think today (fri), whats canoeing? you mean the leaves? ive had that happen to a few of my plants a couple days ago, not sure why. the temps have been actually below normal~around 73 in my tent lately. i havent had time to read up about it, and its only on a few small plant tops so i fig'd it be fine.

ok quick question about checking the trich percenteges. I just got my led mini microscope in the mail, and it looks like a small telescope that i wink with one eye, and put my other eye into the scope. it zooms from 60X to 100X but even at 60 the trichs are huge, i can only see like 4-8 at a time and even if my hand shakes the slightest, i loose them..hahaha i always sucked with telescopes and binoculars too. my question is how can i tell my trich percenteges if i can only see a few..as a matter a fact how do i check to see them at all? i saw like i said a few at a time, and i checked multiple spots~they were all cloudy none clear or amber.

Cool new toy growbe. :booya: When you check them, try to have the scope against something stable, like a chair or lamp, tripod, laptop, bicycle.... something that will allow that thing to be absolutely still while you dial in your sights. Have fun!

Of course! Explore! That's a whole different world down in there. But the tops of the plants mature before the bottoms, most of the time, so you'll always have a different scene from top to bottom. That make sense? Go head and explore. It's fun!

well i fig'd out why my leaves got all messed up. To tell ya the truth im real embarrassed to even say this, but im gonna for the good of the cause~helping new growers learn, as well as myself. When i got my digital ph pen in the mail a couple months ago, i just "assumed" it was spot on. Well I had some extra change a couple weeks ago, so I ordered some 7.0 ph buffer solution. It came yesterday and I tested my pen for the heck of it. It came back @ 7.6. Im not sure how long its been off like that, or how much for that matter, but ones things for sure~my ph has been messed up for a very long time. My poor plants have been suffering because of my stupidity, and my yields are gonna reflect that. I have that one plant thats just a freak, and i have another thats leaves are messed up, but man it has a ton of bud on it~but my 3rd must be real sensitive and its just covered with popcorn buds. Not to mention what I couldve had if it had been spot on. Well I hope some newcomer reads this to learn that you should be prepared with your ph right from the start. The solution was under $10 and i couldve saved me a ton of aggravation and stress. Never assume equipment works because you just bought it. Well, its calibrated correctly now, and i WONT be making that mistake again! My runoff is coming out at 6.2 now, so im gonna hafta address that. Thank god im almost done with this first grow, cuz it seems like everything went wrong~but im greatful they still made it.
