New Grower Ok, ive been debating it, but heres my 1st grow journal.

I would just let that AKR ride and see what happens. As the fan leaves get crispy they'll pull off with a very light touch, so just keep clearing them out and letting the buds grow. At some point you'll see those pistils turn, but the fact that it's still popping new ones tells me that she's still got growing to do. Also, if the plant is still drinking the normal amount, that's a good sign. I've had plants that I tried to push longer but they stopped drinking as much and the buds started to dry out, so I was forced to chop. Doesn't look like you're there yet.

Oh ok I gotcha I gotcha. Well you know from my experience there is definitely a possibility of suspended animation when your ph gets too low for too long. Happened with me. I still don't know if my AKR will pull out of that, she isn't doing a thing haha. Well would you look a'there. Both AKR having problems. Just put that together. I'm sure it's our own faults. haha

oh, and thanks squid and andy too..didnt see your posts until after i typed. im gonna let her ride, yes she's drinking just fine. even the crispy fan leaves wont come off, which leads me to believe theyre still alive. i dont want to yank them off either, just let them use up all the nutrients in them first, right?

Exactly. As long as she's drinking and slowly using up the fan leaves, there's still energy being put into flowering. You're doing the right thing by leaving the fan leaves on. When there's no more nutrients left inside, they'll fall off on their own or with a very gentle touch.

man if she takes a few more weeks than my other two, my photo's are gonna get so big i wont know what to do with them! hahaha! Ive only got one tent, and i cant switch to 12/12 until my auto's finish up. oh well, im just gonna have some huge photo plants, that just means more bud, right? :dance:

as long as i harvest 3 plants, there will be plenty of room. my tent is 7ft tall, minus the light, so ive got about 5 1/2 feet of space..room for another foot and a half..i sure hope so!

ok, quick update.. its been 4 days since i watered my akr's, and i have been watering them every 3 days for the past two weeks, but my best girl was showing small signs of overwatering, so im gonna hold off another day or two. Im gonna give them one last flower feed, then start my flush i think at least on the two good lookin' girls. I havent gotten my good mini microscope yet, so ill decide once i get it and get a close look at the trichs. Im def gonna hold off a bit longer on my slower progressing akr tho. Til next time!
