thanks guys. the main thing is that i still made it. next time will be better, and better even the next time after that. each mistake i make is a mistake that wont be made again. so live and learn~you guys are so right about that. thanks for the support and comments..helps a guy feel much better. I couldve always not mentioned it, and everyone would think i know what im doing, but that wouldnt help me as a new grower move forward and better myself. Not only that, im helping others that read my thread at the same time. :thumbs:and that is very gratifying in itself ;)

Hey man what's up shit that sucks but oh well them buds still look great and you fixed any future problem you still flushing them and getting ready for chop or prolonging it

well the last nute feeding i gave my akr #3 is on the 4th, so its been 10 days. My wife and I have decided were gonna chop her tomorrow morning..i just cant wait anymore. she's realistically only gotten one full bloom feeding, and probably only 4 or 5 nute feedings total, none at full strength except that one bloom. Not to mention theyre all organic nutes, so she's ready. she has fattened up so nice, im stoked! Im gonna be taking some great pics so stay tuned tomorrow everyone!

thanks a bunch johny. Yeah, ive been very fortunate with this one AKR in particular..i cant wait to see her final dry weight. She is a BEAST. Shes got about 10 nugz the size of coke cans on her~even after all she's been through. man im so blessed by the weed gods. I even have another thats holding her own fo' sho"! shes gonna be quite the yielder too. My third is the one that really took a hit. I hope the nugz kick it into gear, or im afraid im gonna have to chop just a bunch of premature buds, unfortunately. Im giving her some time to see what happens though. As of right now, ill be lucky to get a half oz of underdeveloped buds. Lucky.

just checked..actually 12 nugz coke can size, prolly about 10 more sites that are smaller...cant believe how i lucked out with her!

Man that shit is great im happy for ya nothing better then big ass nugz you grown yourself im on day 38 right now and the cola is as thick as my fist these AKR are definitely picky eaters man can't wait for the bud porn bro interested in size of yield to bro

Ok, just a quick update: Today was harvest day!! Everything went awesome..ive got pics to come..if I had to judge by the looks of all the buds..id say ive got between 3 and 4oz of dank, heavy, tight nugz. Stay tuned for pics! Its gonna be a little while~btw my wife was a great lil' helper :)

 :jump: Fuckity fuck I am so excited for you dude! I kinda feel like I'm there with you and your wife. lol (I wish) Can't wait for pics of the stinky colas of joy :D

yeah man..wish you were here! its so much fun doing that for the first time..:)

Looking forward to the harvest pics, GBW!

Just to further clarify some points made on the pH meter discussion above. Not only should you check your meter when you get it, but you should test it regularly because it will drift over time. I caused myself some problems with my current grow because I went well past a month without calibrating and mine got off by several tenths. I now have reminders on my calendar telling me to check calibration every 2 weeks. If you don't have testing solution, you can test other household items such as milk, white vinegar, or distilled water as a sanity check. Just Google them for the pH numbers, while keeping in mind that none of them are as precise as calibration solution. Cow's milk usually runs from 6.5 to 6.7, so it's a good indicator that your meter is at least in the ball park for what cannabis needs.

And another point worth mentioning is that "auto calibrating" does not mean that the meter will somehow keep itself accurate and never need adjusting. It simply means that you can place it in the proper solution and it will detect it and adjust itself automatically. A non-auto calibrating meter will have something like small screws that have to be adjusted to dial in the meter to match the calibration solution. Both kinds of meters need to be checked and calibrated often. The more you use it, the more you should check it.
