New Grower OGbaby - The Second Genesis

Quick Update: Grape + Ghaze x C99 x C99 (OR Highrise Auto Mix) Pictures!

Thx sniper, the second one is starting to catch up pretty fast and doing a lot better then the first one when she popped, but I'll will definitely keep the bigger one lst'd when it get grows a bit more and starts hoggin all the light.

I haven't fed them since last Saturday (Nov 2), but I'm goin to go feel/weigh the pot now to see if it's light (Might not water them at all - considering Yoda's tip). Curious tho, do you supply a lil more water for the two since there's two plants or keep it about the same since it's only one pot?

So, I haven't fed them any water last Saturday (Nov 2) as per recommendation by Yoda but water fed them on the 5th (Nov) instead. They look like they really enjoyed it, thanks for the tip. I could have drown them lol.

Around Nov 8th - 9th, marks a week and half for the first seedling. I have a Nute Feed scheduled for the 8th or 9th of Nov coming up to introduce 1/2 teaspoon Big Bloom to the feeding water. But seedling 2 (C99) is only a week old. What would be my best course of action here guys, do I have the greenlight to continue as planned?

just read your last post and it seemed way too early to be using any thing labelled bloom but after a little homework I found I was wrong in my assumption

I am not too familiar with fox farm nutrients so I had to check up on them quick. from what I can see on their site it seems big bloom is a combination of a root stimulator and a bud stimulator and can be used for the whole grow.
what ratio are you adding the nutrients at 1/2 tsp to how much water?

from what I read on their site a safe dosage for both your plant would be 2ml per litre or 7ml per US gallon. this is half the recommended dose for seedling and cuttings so it shouldn't cause you any problems at that strength. once you see how they react to it you can always increase the dose if needed.

Hey Now!
Plants looking good!! You seem to be about the same place as I am with your grow, I'm subbed and cheering ya on. Your plants look better than mine at this stage. I am hoping I am on the right track now. I have one auto, Critical Cheese and one photo, Bubba Kush.
One thing I noticed and thought I would mention is the lights. I have seen folks say many times that the light from a CFL comes from the sides and not the top and so to angle the bulb so as to expose more of the side of the bulb to the plant. Maybe a Y adapter? Double the lamp and expose the side... Just a thought and hopefully someone who knows will chime in with confirmation of a boot to my head!!!

Ghaze x C99 x C99 - 1 Week

Last time I gave the girls a shower was on the 5th so today is feeding day! Unfortunately I didn't have my measuring spoons on hand with me this morning so I opt'd out for giving them half a drink (Water), enough to last them until then. I watered on the outside, so about 1 - 2in (4-6cm) away from the plant to simulate root growth and avoid over watering them when I finish there feed now (Water + ½ tsp Big Bloom) I will update some pics before feed, they are look awesome tho.

My water is kept in a 1gal (3.78L), but I only use about half (Most likely less then) of the water when full.

I'm am not too sure, I've always just watered evenly & slowly until runoff. Not enough to cause a huge puddle underneath but about a small thin puddle's worth. Runoff comes through as a tiny often steady stream moreso then a few droplets. So far the size of the runoff has been consistent, and pot is heavier afterwards.

Thanks wwwillie! I actually do have them doubled on Y adapters. I'm not sure if I correctly angled them tho, so I'll snap a few pics of it for you guys later today. It might just be that they are way too low (young) right now, but when they get a lil bigger they should come up right on the side of the bulbs nicely. I've read plenty on that CFL side light too so I think you're right.

BTW, Seraphim - I decided to chuck the seed in the other pot because it died (rotted?) on me so I have a Lemon Sherbert (The name just sounds like it's gonna taste good) germing right now. I know you guys are growing some and I'll will be stalking that thread more then I already am when I pop it into the soil. :stylez rasta smoke:

Ghaze x C99 x C99 - Week ½

The 1st ever nute feeding went awesome. Half feed (Pure water, A.M) and the rest of the half feed (Water + Big Bloom, P.M) went smoothly, the girls drank it up all up. It's almost like steroids how perky and big they got over night. Things are look good, giving the pot a few spins to prevent heavy leaning and got a nice lil' fan blowin at intervals to replicate wind and promote healthy stem strength/girth. As promised, I got some pics up to note progress.
