Don’t let the pictures fool you. NOT the lobster meal. You want buds and blooms

Awesome info. Only having a couple of plants I want to ease into the cultivation world lazily. As I advance into more experimentation I will try mixing my own, but for now I will take proven success! Thanks Dales Proper Bud for the blueprint. I will be popping the seeds in a few weeks and will be posting.

7 gallon is a sizable start!
Ok, Im planning on putting blue dream autos in 7 gallon grow bags filled with COM stonington blend platinum growers mix. Im going to sprout seeds and put them right in the bags. Is this a good plan or should I go another route. Being new to this, I welcome any advice on my new found journey.
good luck & patience is valuable when growing!
are you growing indoors or out?
7 gallon bags might produce some beastly plants!! I have to be aware of things with my tents now (two DIY 2x2’s) as a 5 gallon bag spit out a 5oz grow without breaking a sweat that consumed space. I’m not in any way a talented grower—just throwing out the awareness of space is usefu!!! I learned it the hard way!

Start and journal and document it. Tag some of us in it and we can help you along the way. Tag someone by putting the @ in front of their name

I am leaving the grow bags outside for the most part. I will also have a couple of gold leaf photos in the ground, any thoughts on the soil? I grew a couple jack herrers last year in the bed, but had a problem with bud rot/ mold as we had a wet and humid summer. Seeing im new I made a couple mistakes in the end with cropping, and stressed the auto so much the buds never closed up. Well this is a new season, learning from past mistakes and asking a lot of questions, try to bear with me. Thanks for all the input and help.

The reason I asked on soil comments is I have been told the outside in ground soil is different than soil used in bags. Is that true or just use the same soil for both?

I was browsing threads and this one popped up so I thought I would stop by from the Adirondacks and say hi. First time grow box build, first time grow. Doing some GG#4 for a test run of the box and going a GG#4 and Zkittlez run next. We really have no clue what we're doing so we just did amateur research and jumped in to learn hands on.

Nice @Upstate_indoor and welcome. I’m northern ny here. You found the best forum on the web! Lots of info and if you document a grow/ journal on here, you submit for approval and get invited to the cultivators club where we get opportunities to receive beans from breeders to test!

Thank you, I'll probably do a grow journal for the next one. This one has been a rough learning curve and is mostly for balancing equipment and making mistakes at this point. [TLDR; abused these plants while we balanced the system so our grow journal will be on the next set.]
Started with 6 GG#4's in a box we built in the basement, 2 didn't germinate so we went down to 4 (the seed bank said they would replace them though because they didnt see anything wrong with what we did.) Then we expected a lot more heat from the lights but the LED has built in cooling fans that work super well and we struggled with heat and humidity; got a hot mist humidifier and over did it, shocking the plants. Replaced the humidifier with a better model that regulates, couldn't get the temp over 68 still so we put 1" foam board insulation on the outside of the box. Now its at a nice 73-75F and 71-73 humidity and we can back the humidity down once we get into veg/flower. The next grow will go soooooo much better lol.
