Just harvested 50+ feminized seeds.
Strains:
Royal Queen Northern Lights auto
Buddha Purple Kush auto
Breeding Method:
-50ppm Colloidal Silver
CS Treatment was started on day 17 and applied to the lower nodes leaving the top main stem untouched. I stopped the colloidal silver treatment on the NL in 3 days because I changed my mind and wanted a bigger chop instead of seeds. Typical CS treatment for a fem to hermie and grow pollen is about 21 days according to the guides I've read. This apparently didn't matter for my NL, which still grew pollen sacks on all the lower nodes. The main stem was also budding nice and fat at the time.
Pollen was collected and applied on select Purple Kush stems on the first week of flowering. At 2 weeks, seed pods were visible. Seeds were collected a little over 4 weeks after the pollination date which was October 15th.
Tested one seed by germinating it in moist paper towels immediately after picking it off the plant and a taproot busted open in a day.
Thinking of calling the strain 'Purple lights'
Can't wait to see how she performs! :booya:
Hopefully the method I've shared helps other auto breeders.
