I used to stop when a few of the sacs looked like they were ready to open,
If you are crossing strains I found the can lean towards either parent or you will get a mix of the 2,
You will have to grow several of the new F1 seeds and find the one with the best growth, best germination, best smell all the traits you are looking for and make seeds with that one witch would be F2's then do it all over again F3, F4, F5 usually by F5 you should have a pretty stable strain.
Also each time you do this you should make pollen from one of the new seeds F2 reverse and pollenate an F2, Then reverse an F3 and pollenate an F3 ect.
If you use for example F2 pollen on an F4 you will have new F1 seeds.
I agree with this.
I spray every 5 days with STS until I see sacs forming then I'll spray1 more time when ever the 5 day interval falls.
I am 10 for 10 on reversals and so far 8 of 10 have given me seeds (the other 2 just got pollenated a couple of days ago but I'm pretty sure I will be 10 for 10 on seeds)
I spray indoors, the other problem is if your plant is outdoors you could potentially pollenate other plants or your neighbors plants cause you never know when the pollen will drop.do you spray outdoors then with gloves & lab eyewear?
my worry would be doing it outside and the wind blowing it back in my face.
Or doing it indoors with low airflow.
Eight weeks. They were likely ready earlier, but I left them anyway to make sure. We will see if I was correct...For sure - Hoping night owl does another drop. Want to use his genetics.
Gotta spend the money on good genetics to breed good genetics.
How long did you let the seeds mature after pollinating them? @Olderfart
Yeah, I mentioned that number to my wife. I'm not sure she believed me. Actually, if all the seeds are hard and nice color, there will be more than 100.Nice!! @ $10 a seed you just saved $1000
The only reason I buy seeds now is to make different strains!

Check this out guys! Safe to say it is reversed and is going to throw out quite a few sacs. Still spraying..View attachment 1296498

Now if they will be filled with viable pollen i will be stoked. Time to figure out where I'm going to put this thing before it starts dropping pollen. I will probably just put it in a box with a light.
I wonder if a a cfl would work?....
