No pollen yet - howcum?

cloned a auto? nice, selfing it then?
Yep. Cut the lowest branch off when it was quite young. It was slow to take. Took a solid 2 weeks before it rooted. This was my first attempt at a clone however.
It was throwing pistils when it was really small so I'm trying to reverse the whole plant.
I have one seed left of that night queen. Planning to store pollen and grow out that last seed.

FWIW, I sprayed my reversed plant until the balls were well formed, and then stopped. Next time around, I will continue until I see pollen. The pollen I got was viable, but not a lot of it. I am thinking that pollen production might benefit from CS application for longer than I did it. Just my thinking so far, I have no data or experience to add.

One thing I noted from my reversal is that although the plant produced huge numbers of balls, not a single leaf suffered the distortion shown in your photos. I wonder whether this is because of the concentration of the spray solution. Mine was homemade, and the process was continued just long enough to get saturated concentration of colloidal silver, it was not continued after that. Continuing longer, or with too high a current would produce large silver particles, not colloidal ones, and I wonder if it is the excess large silver particles that sometimes distorts leaf growth.

At any rate, I got full reversal, and no leaf distortion with my homemade solution.

Good point. You are using homemade so the PPM is way lower.

So you might not be seeing the same issues I do at 240ppm.
Aka our approaches likely will differ.

it recovered decently after i stopped spraying.

wow congrats. took me a bunch of attempts to get it down.

Sounds like it might be best to switch to STS and remove all doubts. After you play around with CS.

Maybe that's why we hear such a mix response on how late to spray with CS. Depends somewhat on the strain and a lot on the strength.

Guess not many people are out there making reversed autos. Feels like there is just a few of us.

@ob1 - when you used CS. Did you spray until it started to drop pollen, or until sacks started forming? I kind of suspect the CS stunts the plant alot and its better to stop when sacks form.

Also is it true alot of reversed autos are mostly a mix of both parents (flavor wise). Dont dont too many old traits coming out? Was told if you want to get an idea of what a reversal will be like. Just smoke a mixed bowl of the two parents.
I used to stop when a few of the sacs looked like they were ready to open,
If you are crossing strains I found the can lean towards either parent or you will get a mix of the 2,
You will have to grow several of the new F1 seeds and find the one with the best growth, best germination, best smell all the traits you are looking for and make seeds with that one witch would be F2's then do it all over again F3, F4, F5 usually by F5 you should have a pretty stable strain.
Also each time you do this you should make pollen from one of the new seeds F2 reverse and pollenate an F2, Then reverse an F3 and pollenate an F3 ect.
If you use for example F2 pollen on an F4 you will have new F1 seeds.

I agree with this.
I spray every 5 days with STS until I see sacs forming then I'll spray1 more time when ever the 5 day interval falls.
I am 10 for 10 on reversals and so far 8 of 10 have given me seeds (the other 2 just got pollenated a couple of days ago but I'm pretty sure I will be 10 for 10 on seeds)

Well peeps, the jury is in on my CS adventure. And the verdict is, 100+ seeds from the two branches I pollenated. Pics in due course.

Nice!! @ $10 a seed you just saved $1000 :joy:
The only reason I buy seeds now is to make different strains!

For sure - Hoping night owl does another drop. Want to use his genetics.
Gotta spend the money on good genetics to breed good genetics.

How long did you let the seeds mature after pollinating them? @Olderfart
