No pollen yet - howcum?

Get a LED bulb if you can. With a 1 into 2 adapter so you can run two.
Im running my little plants under 1 2' t5. Only like 3,000lux.

if you had the 240ppm spray i would stop now. But thats my 2cents.
This is what I put my stud under. It actually makes a nice cheap light that you could finish a single plant grow with:
Amazon product

Fill it up with 100 watt equivalent LEDs with the diffusers removed, a combination of 2700K or so and 5000k or so. That will give you about 100 real watts of LED, and that will grow weed.

FWIW, next time around with CS, I will keep spraying until I see significant pollen drop. The current project stopped spraying after the balls showed, but I have a sneaking suspicion that longer treatment might have produced more pollen. I got good pollen, but not much of it.

Good luck with it. :pighug:

Oops, forgot to post this on this thread. The final count was 232 seeds including the two I peeked at earlier and subsequently lost before the main harvest. Here they are:

I rejected one seed for small size and light colour. Germination test in due course.

Totally agree. Someone else did that on thcfarmer and their yield was insane for dollar store led bulbs.

damn son. guess there was some pollen in that reversal ;)

really? I thought it was toxic af. Ill have to research it more.
C/S is safe and I thought STS was real dangerous but when I researched Silver nitrate it's used as a blood stopper in medical field (and for cutting animals nails if you cut to far and it bleeds).
sodium thiosulphate is one of the most important chemicals in the medical field and is an antidote for cyanide poisoning,
Now don't take that as they can do no damage to a person because anything in excess can be dangerous. so making the concentrates I wear a dust mask an gloves but spraying the mixed STS there is very little in it.
in 100 ml of concentrate I mix 0.5 grams of sodium thiosulphate with 100 ml distilled water
then 0.1 grams of silver nitrate in to 100 ml of distilled water.
for the spray I mix 5 ml of each concentrate with 90 ml of distilled water so as you can see there is very little chemical in the spray
On a medical site the dose for cyanide poisoning is
  • Adult:12.5 g intravenous (IV) (infuse over 10-20 minutes)
  • Pediatric: 7 g/m² IV (maximum 12.5 g), infuse over at least 10 minutes
so when respected it is safe but so is peroxide bleach and many other things found in you household.

Less is more I stop before pollen drops I sprayed until after the pollen was dropping with that same thought.
Well I got more pollen (not a lot more) but not viable it was a waste of time and a plant. I think spraying when the sacs are splitting let in the moisture from the spray and we all know moisture kills pollen.
C/S is not known to give a lot of pollen, which is why commercial breeders don't use it the go to STS or G/A.
I would be more concerned with timing and application, and the fact that you got that many seeds I would say you had no problem with either of these factors. :jointman:

How do you all plan on curing these seeds? My research showed you should put them in a paper bag for a month to dry, then they are good to go for long term storage.

Nope, I'm just leaving them in their pill container with the top off. There is so little moisture in them, and so little can get through the seed coat, that I doubt a paper bag would make any difference. I also doubt that a month is necessary, but I will give them a couple weeks before I do a germination test, if my patience holds...

I cut the spray in 1/2 after the first 2 or 3 sprays as it was rough on the plant.

I found a nice corn cobb led for $20 that should be ok if I put it in a box with the reversed clone.
