Grow Room NiceNEasy's Nano Dragon Factory.

Hi, no suitable lights match your growing area:pass:. Our smallest light is TS600, 90w, it's for 45cmx45cm area

Thanks for replying Tina. I didn't think you went down this low, but had to ask.

I think you'd be surprised at the market for a quality 45w 25cmx25cm area, or similar.

Ok, so took some time out of doing my job to do some calculations. Placing them up here, so I have somewhere to refer to.

Total Grow Area (Internal): 25cm deep x 30cm wide equals:

Square Footage = 0.81 ft²
Square Yards = 0.09 yd²
Square Meters = 0.08 m²
Acres = 0.00002 acre

That should be between 50 - 80w Coverage.

PAR is a different matter.

Instead of looking at how much wattage a grow light uses, it’s far more important to understand the grow light spectrum, which is measured in micromoles (?mol). You need anywhere from 180 to 1300 ?mol to grow plants with grow lights, depending on how light hungry your plants are. The Cannabaceae family of plants are on the higher end of the spectrum: they need 800 ?mol to grow up to 85% of their natural potential, or 1300 ?mol to grow to 100% of their natural potential. Kitchen herbs, salads and other leave plants on the other hand only need 180-380 ?mol.
You can use a PAR meter to determine your grow light’s intensity in ?mol for light spectrum between 400-700 nanometers (nm) – in other words, for any light spectrum that’s suitable for growing plants.

Using a similar space, 2 SunBlaster strips work perfectly. They make different wattages. I think this could be helpful. Check out my grow journal if you want to see them in action. Cheers! :)

I definitely will mate. Might be a bit out of my price range though, if the internet is right. Time will tell.

Didn't realize anyone still had dragon seeds. Stone kept me supplied with various dragons when I was in my worst years of MS...back in '11-'12. Think I'll tag along for the ride. Anything from the Dragon line always peaks my interest. AAMOF, I just germed my very last reg seed of "blood dragon" and awaiting sexing. If male, I'll select a fem and let'em get after it. If female, oh boy, hold my beer......

Welcome in bud, the more the merrier :pass:

You might be surprised at the number of Dragon growers on this forum, quite a lot from seeds back when you got them & then bred out - my own included. The autoflower portal also has some in stock, sometimes. They had a AK47 x Duurty Dragon, but looks sold out now. Too expensive for me anyway.

What's the heritage on Blood Dragon?

umols ? acres  some peeps say the numbers from the wall more important than advertized watts.some say the spectrum more important than watts.a 60w white house bulb will be brighther than a 60w house bulb.the par/mol figures will be higher for the white than red.both still 60w which is better for veg/flower/overall growing weed ? fucked if i know :shrug:i just know facts n figures isnt everything, and figures can be smudged to a certain extent.
50w a square foot is talked about.....but aint that old style lights ? led watts/sq2 should be/or can be less than that ?
my cupboard is running i think 35ish w/sq2 i dont think i need anymore than that.
whats the height,or cube size ?
good luck n keep er lit

I hear what you are saying mate, advertised and actual are different in most things. I'll be testing my Chinese LED no matter what (if it ever arrives), as this is all I have, but it's good to know what I'm aiming for.

My immediate impression concerning "old type" lighting such as hps vrs newer led....I began changing over from hps to led. Kinda had to PROVE to myself any statistical improvement. I found that even a cheap "100w wall draw" blurple had my plants growing TO it while the 600w hps was in primary position. The next month had me squeezing my bucks to change everything over. I went from approx 100w sq ft previously to 46w sq ft with qb/autocobs. Soooo...imo, it's become obvious that yeild probably doubled with bout half the wall draw wattage. Growing this shit is fun but all this techy stuff kinda distracts from watching paint dry.

Most of the techy stuff is beyond me these days mate. I would prefer to go completely analogue, but I live in the wrong country.
