Mephisto Genetics Newman attends Mephisto’s Wedding

Couldn’t roll with the leaf tuck only anymore, removed a few of the uppers fans, disliked the shape and realized she was begging to be trained :naughtystep: If I get this PH issue under control shes Going to be a beauty

Good call - I didn’t train mine much and after stretch they barely have enough vertical space. All I did was leaf tucking and a bit of branch tie downs. Mine definitely would have benefited from more aggressive plant management.

Looking good!

She responded well to the LST and is just at the onset of flower Day 34

The best part about the grow is ever since I started it this guy has been lingering around my basement talking about meatloaf

Early Flower
I lowered the light ~2inches blindly two days ago and she seems to enjoy it. Soil Ph is slowly coming back to normal and most signs of stress(that I notice) in the leaves have slowed/stopped. A 125$ soil ph meter likely saved my grow where I will surely grow more than 125$ worth of weed.

I know what you mean. I had the bright idea of trying different things with different plants like topping and training. I now have 5 plants and they are all of different heights, I am using 3 lights that gives me some versatility. My tallest plant is 8" taller than I counted on but I am not topping in the 3rd week of budding. "Aggressive plant management" is going to become my mantra in future grows. Thank you for that.
