New Grower New grower

I planted directly into soil in 2.7 gal pot with no problem. You don't want to pour water over your seed if you do it this way, the water can wash the seed down deep.

I just put the seed in wet soil 1/4" deep, put a humidity dome over it and waited. If it gets a little dry, mist with water in a sprayer or lightly dribble water.
If you plant too shallow the seedling may have trouble scraping off the shell as it emerges leaving you with "helmet head". When you say humidity dome do you mean a cup? It gets too wet under a cup and you will become susceptible to damping-off. Put a hole in the side on the bottom and a hole in the top. the idea is to get some air circulation. You really do not want humidity over 70% and you only want that for the first day or two.

Yup.

I used clear plastic food cover. The kind that comes on takeout food trays. They have holes so your food doesn't get soggy. :eyebrows:

I use toilet paper literally 6 sheets folded in half wet it and ring out put the seeds inside and put it in a dvd case (One I didn't care about or take artwork out) I put it on top of my grow tent and the Strawberry Nuggets sprouted in less than 48 hours then I put root down into prewet soil and was about another 2 days till it broke surface. I got this method from Mephisto's grow guide.

What ManOGreen is saying is true I've found if you don't check enough or leave too long the roots get stuck it happend with a diff type of plant for me I never let roots get long only barely out of shell.

Putting it in soil works just as well.

@bhaskara_phoenix thanks! Im so stoked lol I can't wait to see them above the soil. [emoji91]

They will be big before you know it it's crazy how fast they grow! It could take a few days up to 3 or 4 so just water normally a little bit with cup don't let her get too dry but not soggy just try to catch when top is starting to dry out. Could go way sooner too just don't want you to worry!

Managed to get a couple pics of each today.
