These are an insurance policy. Just in case the regular sex Flash genetics either do not auto or do not produce a male. This is a result of a conversation that trailanimal and I had. I can fertilize female plants without ruining my smoke. In order to move forward with my breeding plans I need to be able to make a handful of beans with each female in this grow cycle. My gut tells me to trust Stone.
finally got my portals! gonna drop some of the fems to replace a couple that just aren't vig enough for me or my clime, the stone dragon regs will wait for next year's seed run. This year afghani mags are shining already, hope to get a good male, very hardy very fast, so far, I'll see how they bud, could be some outstanding hardiness for future breeding.

Today one of my friends, a close friend I have had since highschool, dropped a soapstone pipe I carved when I was sixteen. His name was Baphomet. My grandmother gave me the blank and let me carve it with her tools. It is a strange and sad event. I am more sad than angry.

/edit Going to miss you buddy, he always did love eating the "Devil's Lettuce."

Black Stone

Unstaked Stardust 1, 2, 4, & Jock Horror Auto yesterday. LST caused immediate development of branches. Impressive. Stardust 3 stays staked. Stardust 2 will have its apical node pruned in a couple days. The other two will remain as control specimen. Temps have been good. Steady as she goes.

Unfortunately the spidermites have made another appearance in the veg room. Predatory mites are in bound. Going to pick up some nematodes when I go to town next, as well, as a precautionary measure. I often use a magnifying glass to make observations of my specimen so I'm catching them early again. They usually show up in spring/summer, by late fall I'll have them eradicated again. The greenhouse appears to be pest free still, thankfully.

Another observation: The specimen in the greenhouse relax their leaves at night, folding up almost like a sensitive plant or a starfruit tree will. I was worried it was a wilt at first but over the last couple weeks they've consistently tucked in at night and perked right back up in the morning. I've never seen a photo do this before. Thought I'd share.
