Outdoor New Alaskan Autos Mk.II

looking nice in there Enki. You remember we were talking about that partial nighttime tuck up? Well, saw it on 2 plants a couple of nights ago, after a blistering hot day, fine in the morning, heat stress that time

Could be heat stress, then. On a hot day the hut runs anywhere from 80f to 90f. They sure were thirsty today. The buckets felt light as air when I hefted them.

What are the odds? Stardust 3 sprouted hairs from what I had kind of hoped were tiny undeveloped balls.

Backup Day 24: My last hope for breeding autos this summer resides in what was once my photoperiod veg room.

Stunted by mite damage these are my last hope for a male. Unless I shelf my photo beans for the winter, which I may do just to cross some new stuff for next summer.

Damn...... sorry your having the problems.... Here's some luck...[emoji256] [emoji256] [emoji256] [emoji256]

Hairs observed on Moonstone 1, 2. Moonstone 3 seems to have nodes that could be male nards. Fingers crossed. This is pretty much exactly what I wanted. The Stones are superior genetics, after all. Over the years I have had excellent results in creating females from regular seeds. This ability bites me in the ass when it comes time to make my own beans.

/edit I've lost strains this way.

Day 51: Observations: Stardust 1 is a variant phenotype from her sisters. Her leaves are more indica, her calyxes are of a slightly variable structure and her hairs are larger. She exhibited mild magnesium deficiency which was treated with one tablespoon organic unsulphured blackstrap molasses diluted to one gallon of water. She was noticeably stripping out magnesium from her oldest leaves(the first two sets of true leaves). All other specimen received a smaller quantity of the same water as a preemptive measure in case of possible future deficiencies. Stardust 2 seems to be behind her sisters in development, presumably from the pruning, she is working very hard on generating apical nodes at the end of each branch instead of the classic cola-structure that her sisters are currently exhibiting, this was to be expected. Stardust 3 is the tallest, and is beastly, but has micro calyxes and hairs. Stardust 4 is almost identical to Stardust 3, with exception that she is slightly shorter and ahead of her aforementioned sister in development. Stardust 4 also has a more indica look to her and she seems to have more nodes and shorter internodal length than any of her sisters, including Stardust 1. Jock Horror Auto is the most developed of all the specimen, she has decent budsites already and smells a bit skunky. Blackstone is on par with with Stardusts developmentally but she is considerably younger, has considerably larger calyxes and hairs, and stinks WAY more. The Stardusts all have a very mild, strange, cannabis odor, you can tell already the terp profile will be very quiet on the pallet. I expect them to take every bit of the summer to develop to completion. Based on Moonstone 3's timeline I will be introducing pollen to lower branches in the hut via a watercolor brush in about two weeks. One thing I can say for the Stones is they are FAST. One muckup in the early life of the Moonstones cost me FEET of development, that much I can say for sure, based on Blackstone as a comparative benchmark. Moonstone 1 & 2 are already working on budsites and I expect about 1/4 oz. finished smoke from each of them. I'm seriously contemplating leaving them to the tender mercies of their brother Moonstone 3 just for the sake of producing more beans, but I also can't wait to taste them, they too have a chronic smell. It has been very wet and rainy. Temps in the hut today ranged from 49f to 69f, humidity 76%. No need to water today. New photos tomorrow if I get home before they tuck-up for bed time. They seem to do it when the light begins to dim and the temp drops.
