Outdoor Nakenjanne’s RQS organic outdoor 2018

Update for week 7, day 48. No more stretching this week. RQS Royal Cookies stopped at 90 cm in 20 liter pots and 110 cm in 30 liter. The plant to the left is RQS Amnesia Haze Auto.

Added an inch of composted horse manure at the top this week, covered with new grass cuttings and only watered with plain rain water. The AH have some pale fan leafs and I think it's a bit to early to be natural so I suspect she would like a bit more nutrients than what she can find in the soil. Will give them nettle water with bone meal again tomorrow.

End of week 8, day 55. The hot and sunny weather continues... I have started to water every day this week as the roots are now filling the pots and we had over 30 celsius. The nights are starting to be damp now so I will put them in the greenhouse with dehumidifier on 60% over night and if it gets rainy.

I have been watering with nettle water twice and feeding the soil as usual. Fan leaves turns yellow quite fast now (especially on Amnesia Haze) but I'm hesitating to give them more nitrogen at this stage. It might be the compost added last week was a bit too fresh and still consuming nitrogen, it's hard to know when not using commercial nutrients. I believe the pots still contains what's needed to complete the flowering and adding to much nitrogen might make things worse so I will wait and see.

A fantastic scent fills the garden in the afternoons. The AH has the typical haze smell and Royal Cookies is more fruity.

Can you use deep root plant leaves like dandelion, horseradish, etc too, they are supposed to have nitrogen for the teas.

Sent from my comfy chair.

Even Urine is high in Nitrogen of course you would only use a tiny amount diluted with water just depends if you're bothered about that sort of thing doesn't get more natural than that haha
I do. But it is very high in nitrogen so I'm a bit hesitant to use it in flowering.

It's cool to see you using nettle tea, I'm guessing you have a big supply of comfrey too?

I take a little bit of whats growing in the garden (such as dandelion) but it's 90% nettles in the tea. It's rich in Nitrogen but also contains all the trace elements needed I believe. I have started comfrey from seeds this summer so it will take a couple of years before I can use it.
