bey buddy lookin awesome so far. glad your first grows went so well. not many manage to make it through without at least a few dramas ( i had fuckin loads) whatever your doing keep it up man. theres some rep for doing so well bud : )

I'm just trying to grow my own meds, so don't have to deal with the dreaded street dealers and save a little hard earned cash in the process.

This first grow experience has been a massive learning curve, but also very enjoyable and looking forward to some rewarding medicine

(Dinafem) Blue Kush - 6 weeks & 5 days (48 days) from planting update:

Bud production appears to be going well, they're frosting up, changing colour, brown red hairs have appeared, and I guess it's a sign they are starting to mature, but since this blue kush auto runs for 75 days according to Dinafem, I can only imagine the buds will get bigger and bigger and bigger ...lol

I can't wait to try some of this kush, are they looking ok so far? I have no way of knowing other than gut instinct, since it's my first grow.

Its my first grow also as u saw it in my journal but looking at yr photos I think they are going great with all issues u had it.. I think u will have a big fat buds.:smoking:

Yeah.. I hope these little plants will produce some quality meds, I think they're well on their way.. but yes patience.. sigh.. this whole first grow experience has been a great deal about learning on how to remain patient, I think especially this latter flowering stage.. it's where the most patient needs to be exercised I think..

Because as soon as those beautiful flowers appear and when I look at those buds I think wow.. they're also feeling very sticky..and look very pungent, I think this is a good sign for a lovely smoke on the horizon... as long as I remain patient!

Update: Week 7 from seed to flower

I'm dying for a puff..lol ..

The buds are looking really tasty more patience required I think! I'm finding the need to exercise it on a daily basis at this stage in the grow. (managing fine on the whole) but looking forward to a day when I no longer have to buy off the street and not worry anymore about buying crap weed.

Anyhow, the bud sites are coming along I think.. here are a couple of the bigger plant taken out of the tent which is 85 to 90cm in height .. I did experience issues with some nute burn on the leaves, which I am addressing with cutting right back on the nutes, only watered today, will do nutes in next watering and also include the BioBizz Alg-A-Mic 3ml, in with BioBizz Grow, Bloom & Topmax at 1-2ml per litre. I'll see how that goes.

Thanks a lot! I am working towards a successful harvest, hoping the rewards will increase in abundance moving towards harvest time..

It's day 50 today, and I am planning on stopping nutes completely around 10-14 days prior to harvest, so a couple more weeks yet I guess.

I have been in the same situation, so I know just what it's like to really need relief. The patience you show your cycles will pay off. Riper flowers. more effective medicine. I have chopped early many times and quick dried, but the cure is essential.

Yes sir, I agree completely with your thoughts and will see the cycle through to completion, I would prefer to get the highest quality, even if it means waiting longer.

Also with regards to the cure, I've been reading about the brown paper bag method, and will try that approach in order to preserve flavour and strength.
