That doesn’t mean anything. Your flowering time is most important when it comes to bud maturity. She’s supposed to go 70 days in total from seed. She’s 85 days.

Of course. But if they are supposed to be done in 70 days, then that’s like two week of veg. Three at most. The buds I checked over and harvested were certainly mostly all cloudy and 5% amber. When they’re cloudy I am free to harvest if I chose to. And yes, she can do with a while longer and she’s being left for another week or so. She’s 50 days into her flower cycle right now. 56 days for flower refers to both photos and autos if you want nice large dense colas.View attachment 1433446

Pretty much what’s left of her. Some larf there but most seem a decent density. I’ll take on your advice and allow my other girls to flower for 60 days. But to my experience (I’ve only a few grows under my belt), 8 weeks of flower is for photo periods. I’ll let the other girls go for 8 weeks of flower though, but that’s dreadful. I’d have been better doing photo periods if that’s the case in terms of long 8 week flower cycles
Thanks buddy. I have taken your advice on board and will let the other plants I have I will leave them to flower 60 days minimum if possible. Just weird how breeders can say 70 days from seed, which means 60 days of flower and 10 days of veg. How the hell would it be possible to finish in 70 days. Where they get these numbers/estimates i truly wonder56 days for flower refers to both photos and autos if you want nice large dense colas.
You still have a beautiful plant anyways, and I’m sure it produced some great smoke.
Lol! You’re absolutely right. Hard to believe that a auto can veg and flower correctly in such a short amount of time. Must be a little bit of false advertising to sell more seeds. Thanks buddy. I've had plants that fully matured with thick, dense colas and finished in under 73 days. Genetics plays a huge role. I believe @Sawney_bean breeds for speed and may be able to explain better.Lol! Yes, container size is a big factor. Smaller the pot the faster your autos will start flowering.I think it’s more to do with pot size and environment as far as the days from seed to harvest. If you have a ton of money, or are simply able to recreate the ideal climate, and are running in smaller pots, then you probably get a quicker harvest. Not too many breeders mention the pot size.
I feel like I’ve usually got a good handle on things, and I generally go from seed to harvest in around 90 days in 5-7 gallon pots. But of course, now that I just said that, I’ve probably just jinxed my latest run.
