So, some light bleaching going on. I want the heat in the tent so I raised it up to 47 inches which is as high as I can. If I don’t see progress the next two days I’ll lower the intensity.

I think at recommended heights 50% would be adequate.

This is a test run, I’d love it to be perfect but I know that it will take a couple runs to dial it all in!

Watered and Fed again.
Timer seems to be working.

Keep moving forward!

Those lights are beastly units!
Thought I might have been pushing it a little but not that much. Once they get used to it and I get dialed in closer I’ll slowly get things back into the suggested range. I won’t be mad if keeping it so far away brings out a tiny bit of stretch either.

So the light controller works, it was user error previously.

I was able to keep the temperatures where I wanted them overnight with a few changes as well. I can now have the exhaust triggers set and running how I wanted.

Ladies seem to be doing better. Some of them are so squat and bushy (all Sativa dominate not indica a) that I can’t even see the stem or even branches, so I did a little defol.

And my coast of Maine seed starter soil will be here tomorrow so.....

What are those lifts between the pot and the saucer called? I've been looking for something like that to get a little air gap between my fabric pots and their plastic saucers. They look to be plastic grids?

Plant risers. They are pricey on Amazon right now because what isn’t, but usually a few bucks at a hardware or hydro store if you have one near by.

I just used them the first time this grow and it’s going to help me understand my watering needs much better I think.
Google “plant riser”

I used mainly seedling soil from coast of Maine. I had a tiny bit of the regular soil left in one bag and the bottom 15% of each pot has that I would estimate. More perlite mixed in as well.

this veg is 2 MONTHS long. As required by breeder. So we are gonna mess with spectrum, sunrise and sunset etc... all the stuff this kale is made to do. I plan to keep them as small as I can until they are flipped to flower. Will do 18/6 once they pop and probably 80% or so blue.
edit: I have plant risers coming from a friend with lots of extras, so these plants will be lifted soon as well. I won’t be watering for a while as mist only to start
