New Grower MoonMan's Grow Journal

Day 16.

surprised at lack of height on the Cindy xx as I was under the impression sativa get big! The indica is making it look like a little baby plant:haha:

I did see some nats in my veg tent, so I sprayed both with Dr. Zymes. I wasn't super scientific on my measurements so hopefully wont see any spots show up in the next couple days on the leaves if I was a little strong with my mixture. Not a big deal if they do, but they are looking good right now,and I'd like to keep it that way!

I haven't fed the CannaCheese either, and probably won't until next week, where I'll give it a half dose of veg nutes and supplements. I also am working the light back to a flower mode as it should start in the next few days (showing sex signs at least). I will post some screen caps of my settings and "recipe" tomorrow after I update it, I've been doing small changes every few days or so.

 :pop:

And anyone else!

as I enter into flower, I am going to be playing with the reds the first time. Gradually moving further until I hit an end point.

many advice on spectrum tuning this until the end? This is all new ground for me and an experiment so trying to figure it out and push things a little but still get a good yield.

for those not following along the plant is a meph canna cheese cbd:thc

Adding 660nm red for 10 minutes just at lights out (red only) for 7 days will help initiate stretch and flowering. This is an easy way to do it.

Thanks! That’s an affordable add on too.

Do you have any ideas on split between the blue and red spectrum? I can go all red or blue or somewhere in between on this light. From what I’ve seen from Bruce B and read on other articles, blue doesn’t really matter, and the middle and red are more important. I was considering slowly working the spectrum over to a 80/20 red heavy, and basically ignore the blue at this point.

this light is more a veg light and when talking to the company a guy actually took a plant from seed to flower and told me it worked “alright”. I’m looking to do a little better than that!

thanks guys!

Gave the CannaCheese it's first nutes this morning. Fed them seedling amounts according to emerald harvest...then added another about two gallons. So should be very light. Cut 4 leafs, they were all below edge of pot/in the dirt zone. Will be as light as possible with that on this.

Then I trimmed more on the photos, trying to get anything under BOTH nets that doesn't get a ton of light. I have 90% of it, have to do some more on the back of the cindy but didn't have time to slide back there :vibe: . Light is getting thru pretty good tho how it is and I might not do much more, but want to focus energy on sites that can get light.

More photos probably tomorrow. Dr Zymes killed the bugs like it always does, that stuffs  IMO.

Day 19
Canna cheese appreciation day.

moved intensity to 90% and red to 60%. On their preferred setting it shows them putting it to 80% red for flower at the end so I’ll work towards that but will leave it here for a week before I adjust again as it’s not quite in flower.

Day 21
So this g13 cross keeps creeping more and more.... had to put her back down! Closest I’ve come to super cropping, but there was no pinching involved. I just bent as gently as I could to get them under the net. In my head 3 week stretch then stop, but now that I’ve bent them a few more inches is fine :crying:

opens up the plant even more and I did it to areas that were open/wouldn’t encroach more on the Cindy.

looking pretty good tho to me. G13 is slowly greening up and in the breeder info it said go slower with feeding until it is ready, I have fed equal to the other, so maybe it’s finally ready?
