Indoor Mixed Indoor Grow.

I think one of my immediate future grows will have an OG in it, because I finally smoked some about 2 weeks ago from a buddy who grew it; blew my mind!!!! Super sweet and super tasty!! Very solid, comprehensive high between body and mind.. I've heard they're relatively easy to grow, unlike GDP, which was one I want to grow very soon as well.. I've been told it can be very finnicky with the nutes, and burns relatively easily..

How's the plant looking today??

I don't know if Strain Hunter's Flowerbomb Kush is an OG spinoff or not, but at this point, its the best stuff I've smoked/vaped! Even better than my Lost Coast OG, and that's damn good!

My plants? The one in the Kratky bucket? Looking might fine! Leaves are lifted up to the light, and seeing that, you just know its getting ready for another growth spurt!

Oh hell yeah!!!!! :) I'm going to do me a little more research on the kratky method to get some better insight because I'm seriously intrigued at how a semi-hydro method works without most of the hydro characteristics!!

How are the other babies doing??

I researched the Kratky method for awhile, I think it could work well for Cannabis if ya get the nutrients right. That would take some trials and errors lol, ya know, cuz it would need nutes for the whole cycle from beginning to end in the tank.

Its caveman hydro! LOL! Seriously though, Kratky's premise was that roots develop hairs that absorb oxygen. By keeping that airspace with roots exposed, they use that air. For what ever reason, that keeps the roots healthy. There are a couple videos on youtube. One guy is a serious gardener with a lot of videos. He's into hydro to, in all forms.

You can see the others here:

I'll be testing the res weekly for ppm, so that I can maintain my 600 pmm feeding strength. I don't expect to see much change un the plant gets bigger. Unlike the lettuce grows you see, I don't expect to get thru a grow without adding nutes. Next time I try this, I'll try running 1000ppms, If I can find a strain take can handle that. This is all an experiment anyway, so we all learn from it!

After reading a couple articles, I think you're dead on!! You'd have to change nutes out at some point because they emphasized that it's only for "leafy greens" which could definitely represent the grow-cycle, but a bloom cycle would need to ensue to bump the PK up and minimize the N for bud growth and development.. I think you're off to a great start though dude!!! :)

Good points, yeah I would think that a few visits inside the res would be needed for Cannabis. I guess, in a perfect situation, one could be able to just change it once at a minimum, just from grow to bloom range. But in reality it'll probably take a few more visits, at least just to add water and nute. Cannabis is wayyy more thirsty and hungry than lettuce, tomatoes, beans haha :) gotta think much more leaf area to transpire and quicker+bigger growth to feed :) I'd like to see it done though! I'd be willing to try it one day with more experience under my belt.

My Kratky bucket is showing signs of the same issues my DWC is, leaves turning yellow from the edges in. Had the same problem with my soil grows. At that time, I thought it was a soil ph issues, now it looks like its my water. So the Kratky experiment its a restart, I changed out the bucket and filled with Distilled water, ph'd to 5.9 and added 615 ppms of Maxigrow. Now we wait and see what happens. If that's not it, then I'm sitting on top if a uranium mine....lol!

Here's a pic:

Well. I just killed off most of my soil plants and started 4 new pots. I'm growlng DDxChesse in them ( because I have lots of seeds lol ) in small pots ( I'm guessing about 1 quart size. I'm using soil recycled from growing Squash in a growbag, even left the roots in to decompose. Added a little Jobe's organic nutes to each pot and watered with distilled water. Now we'll see if I have one problem ( the water ) or 2.
