Lighting Migro Aray

You guys are running these lights 6-8 inches off the plants?
Correct. I'm at 6 as per Migroy's user manual gonna switch to 8 tho cuz what growmies here have said.

Ok. Finally have the "veg-auto" setup where I want it.

24x24x36 inches. I made some custom 6" by 8" fabric pots with velcro on the side. I currently have 5 of them with autos

One has 3 in it (crinkle cut, and 2 other twisted tree), there is a mephisto SOAK, fastbuds strawberry pie, wicked pissah sour raspberry kush, and a OG.

The other 6 inches have photos.

Then there are 12-4" squares with clones and seedlings.

I installed a blumat setup which is the SHIT.

I have a blumat tape feeding 8 of the 6"ers with one sensor.

And another sensor feeding 2 other pots na d all 12 squares with individual brown soakers in series in a loop.

Have not watered in 8 days.

Check the bloom, photo out (28x 28x 60") I changed the setup (the migro is made for a 24x24 and seems to cover that space perfectly) to 3 chilled X1 minis (2 bloom and 1 veg they are setup to cycle but overlap in being on) and a UVB light (2 20min cycles per day)

The most flowered are 7 weeks into 10. There are 14 babies all at different flower phases, 10 different strains that are being sifted down to the 4 I like and keep clones. View attachment 1253260View attachment 1253261View attachment 1253263
How do you like those minis? I want to run three in 2x2.5. In flower do you still run the veg light? How are your yields? Thanks, just want input before i decide.

Man I dont have alot of room where I live and am just feeding myself and friends when they come to visit.
I puff alot and I will have more then I need. Probably going to buy a press and press some.

I am not weighing anything cause I dont care but with the prepertual going now I bet it is between 2 and 3 oz a month.

I see these people with 5x5 with like or 2 plant and think man you wasting space, energy and time.

I tend to get into things hard but I think if more people prefected their craft on little tents they would be alot better growers.

Small tent are:
- cost effectiveThe setup cost about 13$ a month in electrical cost.
-efficient (the light reflects so good in those sizes
-easy to work in (you dont have to reach too much cause everythibg is within 2 feet.

I will tag you around christmas when I take a pic of the bloom tent thet. You will be like holy crap that is alot for a 28x28.

Personally I am finding the keys for me are lots of good light. Lots of good no till organic soil. Each 1-1.5 foot plant has a 9x13 square fabric pot (huge battery) , good temp and humidity control.
So far I sent pics to 2 companies who products I use and they both stated they have not seen a small tent so stacked and they see ALOT!!

The bloom tent which is always in bloom has a 11 on 13 off schedule
1- chilled tech mini 65W veg spectrun ib the center and 4 (10w burple strips for sude and under lighting scheduled to run the first 4 aand last 4 hours of the 11 on

Then 2- chilled tech mini (65w bloom spectrum) running the center 8 hours of the 11 on.

The veg tent which is a auto and veg tents has the Migro 120 aray with reds (50 to 75% output) and 2 (10w burples running 16hours a day

Literally just the tips. 6 different kinds (i had said 8 kids but 3 of the buds are different phenos of Firebudz carebears. A total of 14. Going to sift down to about 5 strains for the bloom 28x28. And cycle tru some auto genetics in the auto-veg tent.

The top left 3 bud will sit a experienced smoker da F down.

Not a sponsor I have done 4 grows with original migro lights. One with migro 100 and other 3 growa with migro 200 and the lights are fantastic. This is my first photo plants under migro 200. Had fantastic results with the 100 and have had no yield less than around 3oz a plant in soil using organic nutes with autos
Migro are top class.i been running my sponsored 100 migro cob for a while now.i wont be without for my veg growth.these lights are no joke. Insane plant growth.happy growing every1;)

Sorry I reread. Ya 3 if a 2x2.5 would definelty work. This is 9 pots in a 28x28" with more the. 9 but eventually will just be 1 per fabric.

I agree. I do with the aray had more of range in the white leds. But for the price it is top notch.
I do with he would do a ultra high end smaller light like a HLG scorpion but small for a 3x3 or 2x2

I don't agree that Migro is top class. His build quality was never that good, was constantly seeing ppl complaining about imperfections on their lights when he was selling those ugly way too big and overpriced COB units. Sorry but someone had to say it. I respect Shane for his reviews but never been impressed with his lights, there is always something weird about them.

Looks like the Aray 3 is using Seoul diodes now. I kinda like that, hate how most everyone is just copying HLG both in the diodes they use and the shapes/arrangment of their boards. It's simply impossible to get the top bin Samsung diodes in large enough quantities as HLG takes most/all of them off Samsung. So why bother with the middle bins when you can just use something else that's probably a bit cheaper as well. I think most ppl would be really shocked to see how close most of these top LED companies are in efficiency.

So if you were wondering what the difference is. Shane used the top Samsung bins in his initial production run. Was getting a ppfd of 2.4µmol/w over the recommended area . Now look at this cocoforcecannabis review of the current production run that is on mid-range Samsung bins. Btw Shane collaborates and personally recommends this site for light reviews.

2.12 µmol/w

Errrrm. Yeah...

Looks like his real competition isn't the likes of HLG, Fluence etc. but Mars-Hydro/Spider. Personally i am kinda disappointed in these new Aray lights though not really as i've come to expect this from Shane. They have excellent light distribution but the efficiency just isn't there and they look flimsy and not at all quality built(super thin piece of bendy aluminum to connect the bars, hanging from the cable etc.). Can't believe i am gonna say this(i hate Mars) but i'd actually get the SP-3000 from Mars over the Aray 240. Prices are pretty much the same but the SP gives out alot more light.

Just my personal opinion.
