Lighting Migro Aray

That looks amazing! Nice job, my Aray will be here next week, (I think). You are making me feel better about my decision. :bighug:

Here is a updated shot. I made some rabric pots and am dialing my setup in. The hemp bags I made got eaten by the soil in 3 months.

My microbe life is on point for the first no till cycle.

This is a 24x24x36 remember.

The crystals are stacking the F up on a 7 week old candy avalanche.

Check the bloom, photo out (28x 28x 60") I changed the setup (the migro is made for a 24x24 and seems to cover that space perfectly) to 3 chilled X1 minis (2 bloom and 1 veg they are setup to cycle but overlap in being on) and a UVB light (2 20min cycles per day)

The most flowered are 7 weeks into 10. There are 14 babies all at different flower phases, 10 different strains that are being sifted down to the 4 I like and keep clones.

The overall width is 15" by 18". You need about a minumum of 8 inches hanging height. I have mine setup at 6inches but it is not as they designed.

I opted for the far red option would also recommend it. The plants clearly like it.

Hello, at what distance you have Aray from flowering autos? I also have one, not sure jet how it performs and about good hanging distance.
Here is my current grow with Aray. I started with HS1 light, later switched to Aray. Grow space is 44cm with 73cm. After having lights at 6" and got some issue with a plants, maybe light stress maybe not, I moved light to aprox 8" above plant at the left and 7" above plant at the right.

Now I see you recomend at least 8".
Here is my email exchange with Migro company:

"Vladamir, it is unlikely that your plants are suffering light stress. Your grow area is 0.73 x 0.44 = 0.32 m².
The ARAY 2 +REd delivers 269 µmols to the grow area for an average of 269/0.32 = 843 µmols/m²/sec.
This is a high level but remember the sun at midday is 2,000 µmols/m²/sec.
If you raise the light to 30cm you will reduce the light reaching the canopy by about 15% to about 720 µmols/m²/sec.
Whatever light height you use the leds spread the light very wide so your penetration will always be good.

Sorry I meant 8 inch above the light is the minimun setup from the factory. I have mine hung differently.

In my auto chamber I have them about 5 inches about the tallest. I have it running at about 75 to 80% power.

I notice I was buring a lemon kush at 6 inches so I repositioned it so it is more to the outside of the tent and everything was fine again.

For my the plants that seem to use alot of cal/mag can be closer to the light.

The nice thing about dimming is you can run the light close and dim it a tad.

When I first installed the aray and the plants had been under FL there was some heat or light stress for a couple days but they get use to it and start loving it.

I personally run my light as close as possible. 8inches seems to be the best.

My cousin has a sf1000 and TS1000 plus a ton of other stuff.
My pictures look alot cystally then his. I think you made the right decision.

I wish it dimmed down to 5% instead of 10% cause I still put glasses on when working at 10%.

The light is very solid IMO. I would buy it again.
