Indoor Mephisto, ALF #5 x Azian Haze CBD, Jem...

Good thing she is going in a 3gal, not 7.5, I look forward to needing to supercrop plants getting too big, sounds like good issues to have!

And I hope it's female too, but if not I will do this: remove shelving from my 3x3 which is currently my prefilter tent/storage and drying area. Move my Viperspectra light into it to grow out the male until I can collect pollen. I already have a HEPA filter in there and extraction fan sucking through it to feed the big tent fresh air. I would feel better having the male plant downstream of the females since the tents are connected, but that would be more moving of stuff than I want, so I will just rely on the HEPA doing it's job instead. Of course, if I do all that I can justify adding my second P300 to the big tent, which I already have the OK to purchase, but have been trying to be frugal since I already have some decent gear. :smoking:

If I strike out and the first one is male I will wait a couple weeks and sprout a few more, once some other stuff is close to being done. Plus I got a HPG CBD bundle on the way and a Portal Treasure Box, which now appear gone, glad I jumped on that little package of joy!
3gallon sounds good. The Blackstone Haze CBD might be very helpful for your wife/gf. Glad you were able to pick that up, Stone will likely send you some great freebies too. Some may be photos too. Lots of good work going on in the portal.

All three strains in the HPG bundle are sounding really good to her, she was surprised I ordered them already lol Everything I read about in there is amazing sounding, and I can't wait to get more non-fem autos to work with because they have a coupe of great options it sounds like.

Good beans, less hype. Stone has Dragons available from time to time. His Blackstone, Moonstone and Stone Dragon are excellent . The CBD rich strain are a great option and there are more being worked.

All babies are up and happy, though I broke part of a cotyledon off the Forgotten Cookies helping remove the shuck. I can never just leave them alone! The first leaves are developing symmetrically, however, so I probably didn't do too much damage to her. Pictures later.

The CDLC, 24C, and Forum Stomper all show pistils a couple days earlier than I had predicted, still right around 20 days. I started with Bloom Khaos foliar spray on the older plants this morning since they are showing, everyone including the pinhead babies are getting The Kraken here in a few after I mix it up. Also need to water the pots down gently as I am following the "less at a time, more frequently routine". My cover crop is all coming in very nicely as well, need to put down some more clover in a few pots though. Strawberry Nuggets is starting to grow noticeably and has the most fuzzy, velvety leaves I have ever felt on a cannabis plant, very cool. :smoking:

Just hope you have an excellent carbon filter because you are growing the smelliest of plants. Not one low odor strain in the bunch.

That's a good thing! I have one, but the exhaust fan I bought recently is either a POS or the carbon filter I purchased is maybe clogged. When I disconnected it the fan has no issues extracting, but barely draws when connected. I have a friend trading me an hour of labor for a 6" Hurricane fan and filter that he never used, pretty sweet deal. Until then it's filter free, but I have a couple weeks before it gets stinky enough to even worry about it much.

Just hope you have an excellent carbon filter because you are growing the smelliest of plants. Not one low odor strain in the bunch.

I have been a slacker or something, oh no, I was encouraged to get involved with social media and am easily side tracked with the beautiful world around us. So to start this update I have to show off a kick ass clam fossil I found recently at the beach, and the rock it appears to have been nested in before weathering finally separated them. Though I am not 100% certain they were connected, pretty cool stuff.

And now the marijuana...

Babies growing slowly but surely. I honestly don't like using full spectrum on the little plants one bit, I think it inhibits root growth because it is triggering all sorts of other responses so the plant is stretching it's energy across too many fronts. And it's just flat out too bright, even at a large distance. I got the go ahead to get another tent, so when I do that I will use my Viparspectra light to veg in it, and add the second P300 in the bigger tent for flowering.

I just foliar sprayed so things appear droopy, but everyone is very happy. It finally warmed back up around here and the tent is running around 80F and 55% RH with lots of air circulation. Back left is Forum Stomper, I see moving the light up a half inch twice a day and she stretched out nice in the middle, I don't have to do anything to expose the bud sites to light and air flow, so I am happy about that. 24C I think I stunted in the back middle big pot. I top dressed a little Azomite in this morning because this was the pot I grew four plants in last time, so I am guessing the micros got used up, as that soil is able to handle two auto cycles up to 6 months total grow time. Back right is the CDLC and that plant is very happy and smells amazing already, at some point I will run a full tent of those. Strawberry Nuggets in the bright red 3gal pot, loving life with all that clover. Marigolds are starting to pop up in several pots, so that will add some pretty color eventually.

Babies still in solos, but today in transplant day for them. The ALF 5 Azian Haze CBD is kinda droopy, not really sure why, but looks like it will pull through fine, the Forgotten Cookies is also and of like that, though they aren't water logged or anything. The Jem's are very happy and uniform.

That fossil is awesome!! There is a hike we go on that is one of my favorites, and I marvel at the top of this mountain that there are barnacle fossils everywhere. Standing higher than almost everything around me I imagine the vast ocean that once covered us and it's pretty cool if I do say so myself :smoking:

Great update as well, I love your companion planting and your statue is cool, I picked up a Buddha statue from my folks place to put in one of my tents, it's just an old ceramic bank but my gramma got it from a yard sale and my dad got it from her so it's been around a very very long time. And I love Buddhism, just don't practice it but have studied it a fair bit.

Anyway back to plants I'm kinda scattered today. I never thought abut the issue with vegging under full spectrum but it makes sense. I rearranged lights a couple days ago just on a whim not thinking about it, but I now have a programmable light so it's in veg mode with two 3700K strips and two full spectrum 3000K strips so I think it will be better overall.

I imagine marigolds are to deter pests as they are planted alone yes?

They are coming along well. I think the light intensity so young is sometimes stressful. I’ve had some issues with my cobs too close before and some plants had very droopy leaves.
My next group of plants will start under a T5 , just to compare.
Looks like a full house once they get a move on.
I know you like a bit of Sativa and you will love the FC. All my Sativa loving pals nudge me to grow more. It smells really unique....limey biscuits .
My Alf5x is just starting to get a move on ... looking for sex , but still a bit early.

I also found a huge empty sun-bleached barnacle, though not fossilized, I gave that one to my nieces (and about five pounds worth of smaller agates and quartz) as they have quite the rock collection started, at my encouragement. I thought initially that it is a Buddha statue also, but after more research and thought I am pretty sure it is Vishnu. Hinduism and Buddhism are both really interesting. Someday I would like to visit Angkor Wat and tromp all over SE Asia.

I have read quite a few people on here saying give the auto's full blast from right off the bat, but I have gone back and forth with that methodology a bit in my own tinkering and think it is wrong, personally. When you flip your switches on photo plants, and change to HPS bulb, the HPS bulb is normally held off on until after stretch, correct? I did the marigolds because they are supposed to both deter pests, which I don't have any to worry about, though I figure it is much better to be pre-emptive about these sorts of things, and because they are supposed to also speed up growth I believe.
