Been trying to set it up most efficiently so one old guy hiding out in his basement can handle the workload. I’m not a big fan of the trim party. I just bring along my imaginary friends for the trimming adventures. I still use a pair of Fiskars that followed me home from work one day.

Well don't feel alone on that. I have a few people that benefit from my efforts, but I'm the one that has to do all the work. Well most of it anyway - the misses helps fill the water jugs on res change days. I use an RO filter cuz my water is above 200ppm

Thanks

Mega crop is great and I’ve had very good luck with it. I’m running version one and I supplement it in flower because when I didn’t my plant got nitrogen toxicity late in bloom the way I was running. I just run the molasses to keep the biome happy but I did run Sweet candy for a few plants and It worked well as I can tell. Since I usually run a new strain I never really know what’s the strain and what’s the supplement doing.

I think @pop22 is the man with Megacrop mastery. A lot of the zen masters here at AFN are running MC at pretty low dosages. What I will say is that because it’s an all in one nutrient and had everything your plant needs the best way to run it is lite. Let the plants ask for the food. Paying attention to your plants color and just focusing on the nitrogen and the rest takes care of itself. I think a lot MC growers are realizing that previous grow issues might not have actually been deficiencies but must toxicity issues.

I’ll always take advice and don’t mind people who think I’m wrong. So any feedback is cool. Sometimes I ramble but please don’t mistake tact for preaching. The only thing I preach is that we all need to find a way to grow that we enjoy.

This is the approach ive taken with megacrop, in soil and in the hydro.
I do use bud explosion in bloom, and sweet candy the whole grow.
Per gallon i average 1-1.5gram of megacrop, all the way through. I dont think the plants have suffered from it and its helping me avoid any N toxicity which in particular sets my teeth on edge lol

Thanks for the tag buddy I'm sub'd up amd tagging along waiting on some mega buds giant zkittles and beast modes so I'll have a lil extra learning before they get here. Was the beast modes fast sprouters just paper towel method here so hoping it works

I killed my first two. They are very very thick skinned and even though I scarified them they didn’t pop in 24hrs so left them in water 48 hours. Then think I cooked them, so basically just turned them to mush after five days. This time I soaked for 24 and then to paper towel even though they didn’t crack. Within 48 hrs had 1/2” tsp roots before going into first plug.

I use tap water that’s at about 7.5 and the add some GH rapid start to bring it down to 5.7. I use this for my soaking water for seeds and the cubes. My tap ppm is 300 but mostly calcium and minerals that have never given me an issue.

Always more room in the the hike. Just make sure the guy behind you keeps his eye on the trail. Don’t want anyone tripping over roots.

@Machamillion consider yourself tagged. Just be warned the campfire stories can be long and might not make any sense on this little trip of ours. The stops at the machinists camp and the chemists might be a bit intense. And I guarantee that st some point there will be an argument. But if we get to the end hopefully we can all say we remembered it well.

:welcome:

:vibes:
No worries bro,:pass: I don't scare easy and can argue with the best of them.
looking forward to the endgame.:smokeout:
