I quit using peat moss a couple years ago. Peat is NOT selfsustaining. It takes hundreds of years to grow a peat bog. And coco is a much better medium all around. Peat, I believe, becomes acidic also as it breaks down, coco does not.
airdomes? Hell yes! You know it works when you see 20 gallons of soil laced with spiderweb like roots, sucking up all the oxygen!
I'm also doing a test right now with AIT units from Modular Hydro. Same idea as an airdome, I just like the design better. I have one in a pot of coco, one in soil. I'm running 6 pots so we can compare results against pots with no air.

It might I really can't say. I can tell you I've been running the same Promix Hp for the last 3 years with no negative effect
Yeah now if something goes wrong I'll be blaming you LOL I've heard that before. I also read that you can add a little dolomite to it to solve that problem. I've wanted to switch to coco but I hate to stop doing something that's working so well
I understand that. I've run organic soil for a couple years now. Running coco in auto pots was a bit uncomfortable to begin. but on the other hand, i love a new challenge. And I'll tell you, coco has been great! And according to coco companies, coco can buffer your ph a bit, unlike peat.
i've had 2 back to back runs in coco that were as close to perfect as I know how to get! i ph'd my solution at mix and never again after. Hansbrick runs the same, hell, i don't think he ph's at all, and DAMN he grows some beasts!

I can't give a total number down to the gram since I've been smoking it, but the small runty plant only put out 1.5 ounces. The short chunky girl broke 7 ounces though! 8.5 ounces in total from two plants that I was originally going to toss in the trash.

Hey man with the clip on fans did you have to buy clamps or the ones you have grip tightly enough to polls I'm in a 4x4 my clip won't stay on the pole I have to clamp it too a cord
