New Grower Medi's Medical grow

Thanks for all the traffic folks, that's more than I see in a typical week :D Trap was spot on it's a technique to open up the canopy, same as LST but with lower stress, and without the need to keep track of a gazillion(give or take) tie downs. I don't think I used it to the full extent possible but the plant on the left has just refused to stop growing in full bush mode so getting the branches apart has been a considerable challenge and after accidentally snapping the main stem on the other plant I've become a bit gun shy. I might experiment with other materials for the netting next time, I used paracord because I have bags of it laying around from my time with Uncle Sam, but it's a little on the soft side, I think it would be easier with a firmer netting material.

Maybe even thin fencing material....stapled down to some 2x4 frame (or smaller)

Its not too late for me to try this with my new trio grow. Thanks for the info. I assume its highly recommended? Guess I know my project for tonight :)

Is that your grow with the Skywalker Kush in it? The short answer is no, if you're in veg it's a great time to start. Just take all your vertical shoots, lay them horizontally underneath the net, and when it comes time to flower try to get them all evened out and leave them. I found this video helpful, hopefully you do too.

Haven't checked in for a while Medi. They really are filling up nicely. Well done mate. I'll be watching if you start a Dinafem. My Roadrunner is coming on well, lovely odor and sticky as hell.

I didn't even know you were growing anything. I'll pop in when I get home, I hate Tapatalk and I treat the forum as NSFW because of where I work.

.: Day 45 :.

RH: 42%-52%
Temp: 26C
Height: Thing 1=35cm Thing 2=40cm
Light: 18/6
Nutes: FF Big Bloom, Molasses, Sensizym

Day 42 from soil break. They have definitely put on some weight the last couple/few days. I've started to get more comfortable and largely leave them to do their thing only checking on them when I wake up, when I get home from work, and before their bed time, this has definitely allowed the humidity levels to stay higher than the rest of the grow has been. They're taking water every 60 hours give or take and that's letting them get quite dry on top, but still reasonable an inch down. Today I ordered some Biobizz Bio-Bloom and Topmax to finish out the grow with since I'm getting low on Big Bloom.

In preparation for my next grow I've started making a shopping list to include geo bags, ingredients for my soil and amendments, and tea components and my total is up to about 120 but should give me enough for a few grows so all in all not too bad. I'm conflicted on the strain again but I've still got it narrowed down to either White Widow or Blue Automazar. The effect of the WW is a huge sell, but the BAM(has anyone thought to call it this yet? Probably.) has flavor and yield as huge sellers. I guess I can't go wrong either way so I'll probably buy both and grow one of each.

That's about all I got, so I'll wrap it up with a couple of individual photos and sign off. Oh, speaking of photos I had completely forgotten I had switches on my LED allowing me to change spectrum so I turned off all the red, and that combined with my white balance correction feature did a pretty decent job. Can't believe I hadn't thought of it sooner, but live and learn right? Alright folks have a good one!

ps. There is a section in the middle cut out, it looks weird, but it allowed me to get a closer shot.

Seriously picking up steam, Medi looks fantastic!

Good call on the next strains as far as I'm concerned...

Safe to assume you're talking about a DP White Widow? or Someone else's?

(And yes, it has been referred to as "BAM") :)

I'm not sure on the WW, I may get Dinafem or RQS for that, and obviously DP for the BAM. I figured someone had to think of it, hopefully it's an apt description :-) Thanks for the encouragement btw!
