.: Day 42 :.
Been a few days since I posted, and the flowers are starting to fill in. Every top has started flowering, and I'm seeing some pretty decent growth out of Thing 1's primary branches. Thing 2 seems to be just iterating on the direction she's been going, in other words just more of the same type of growth, but she's still the stronger of the two which is great considering what she's been through. I was playing around with different light to help bring out actual blooms in photos, and neither flash, nor 5000K CFL, nor LED was really making them pop so I decided LED was the *most* light I could get and from there I could just try to pull as much magenta out of the resulting photo as I could, and increase the contrast and that should bring out more blooms in the photos. You guys can be the judge of how it turned out, it's a little ugly, but for the purpose it works. Considering the quality of my camera I was really hoping this would be easier.
Last night I watered a couple of hours before lights out with molasses and big bloom, and this morning I woke up to some really happy girls. I'm thinking about just going the rest of the way with just big bloom, molasses, and picking up something like bio thrive. I'll probably order it sometime this week, and then the only other thing I'll need between now and harvest is a pair of fiskars which I'll also be picking up this week. Well, that's what I got for now. Hope you're all enjoying a relaxing Sunday.
