Thank you, @Mizzo81. I feel like I’m fighting the bucket. I’m glad she looks ok. She’s starting to get some leaf issues, but I figure that I just keep her PPMs in check and I should be able to cruise to the finish line.

Day 65.

She continues to drink at an incredible rate, but her nutrient uptake doesn’t seem to be increasing. This afternoon, as the lights came on, her PPMs were at 1690 and the pH was 5.5 (a drop in pH!!! - but not out of parameters). I added 2.5 liters of 20% strength nutrients to her bucket. Afterwards, the pH was 5.8 and the PPMs were 1380. Temperature in the tent is 71° F and the RH is 43%. Her odor is getting stronger as she builds up a layer of frost. She’s developing a slightly berry or fruity undertone to the already existing and overwhelming stench of weed and old gym sneakers. Her buds continue to fatten regardless of my inability to keep her PPMs in check.

For the next bucket change I’m going to slightly cut back on the Mega Crop and slightly increase the Bud Explosion to see where that takes me.

Day 66.

On the recommendation of someone who shall remain nameless in the event that I just messed something up pretty badly, I did some major plant maintenance today. I figured it was time - maybe a little past time - so it didn’t take a lot to convince me. I probably should have done a first round before now. I tried to clean up the lower larfy crap and a big chunk of the fan leaves. My goal was to let the light in to the lower bud sites. Like I say, hopefully, she doesn’t go all comatose on me.

On a side note...at first it was cool “I’m gonna try to grow a decent sized plant for a change.’ Then she won’t stop growing and you think to yourself, “Oh no. What have I done?” Then comes, “Please stop growing. Please. I’m begging you.” Then the “This is so cool. I’m gonna have half a pound of weed’ phase starts. And now I’m like “What the hell am I going to do with half a pound of weed?” I’m gonna have to get creative.

Yeah. Hopefully she recovers and starts to swell. Right now she’s looking a little lean for my liking. She is quite the sticky little gal, too. My hand was covered in Double Grape gooeyness all day afterwards.

Today, her PPMs were high (1890) and her pH was low (5.4). She is, however consuming 2.5 to 3 liters or so per day. I think that this bodes well that I didn’t kill her with defoliation. I think is also bodes well for bud swell. I added 2.5 liters of 20% nutrient solution with an added 0.4 mL of pH Up. The resultant PPMs were 1320 and her pH was at 6.4. Hopefully that doesn’t shock her system too badly. I will check again tomorrow to see if I see another downward drift. This is confusing to me unless she’s consuming more nutrients that would otherwise regulate pH or she is emitting something into the bucket that does this. I have some reading and research to do, I guess.

Bucket reservoir change tomorrow. I am planning to drop the Mega Crop to 3.0 g/gal and increase the Bud Explosion to 1.5 g/gal. Everything else will stay the same. More photos then.
