Actually, the law is that you can store 10 ounces PLUS whatever you’re able to harvest from your own grows. It’s one of the reasons why it is important to document your harvests around here. Specifically, Massachusetts General Laws ch. 94G s. 7(a)(2) states that you (assuming you are 21 or older) cannot be arrested or punished or subject to civil asset forfeiture for:
“Within the person's primary residence, possessing up to 10 ounces of marijuana AND any marijuana produced by marijuana plants cultivated on the premises and possessing, cultivating or processing not more than 6 marijuana plants for personal use so long as not more than 12 plants are cultivated on the premises at once;”
(I added the emphasis on the word “and.”)
