my understanding of Livers and Blues is they are two attempts at recreating very similar strains from up north ‘ere in England. i’ve heard the names being used interchangeably quite often so I always assumed similar strains. I think it’s Mitch’s favourite ever and I saw him post recently that they are now back crossing the two strains to make their first 11 gen’ cross or something like that!

but these cuts seem to linger for decades here. I can get the same Exodus I first smoked 10 years ago if I go to the city, crazy really.

Yeah...the stories that I’ve read about the strains indicate that they’re a pheno of Skunk [HASHTAG]#1[/HASHTAG] - originally bred in California and commercialized by Sensi Seeds.

I think I’m casually sitting on a lot of quality strains and I’m just itching to grow them all out. The Cosmic Queens, Blue Toof Special, Creme De La Chem, and Grape Walker Kush are high on my list for the next round. I also have the Blue Dream’matic from FastBuds, Blue Cheese from Barney’s Farm and Blackberry Kush from Dutch Passion that are jockeying for position as well.

When you do drop some beans, think about running something with Livers. It has a distinctive blueberry smell. Whether it’s Sour Livers, Bubbly Livers etc..., you know it when you smell it. Bubbly Livers , while not the dankest, has the most unusual combo I have ever smelled.

For the next res change on Saturday, I think I’m going to remove the Cal/Mag and bump the Bud Explosion back up. I probably only have a couple of more weeks left at this point - three if I stretch it - so I’m just going to push this big ol’ gal over the finish line and regroup for the next grow.

Speaking of next grow, I’ve been thinking about it a bit. I never used to be a planner. I was a happy-go-lucky fly by the seat of my pants type of guy. Going to law school and practicing law changed all that. Now I plan things six months in advance. It’s kind of annoying sometimes. Any way...I digress...I probably going to start my next grow in March. We’ve got some apartment maintenance coming up in January and February. Since the apartment management company isn’t exactly on board with my private little grow op - in fact I can be evicted for it - I am going to lay low for a few months. Then, when I start back, I think I’m going to run 4 or 6 one liter hempy bottles. I placed a couple of orders with Mephisto - one the week before Black Friday and one on Black Friday. I can’t seem to help myself. Anywho, I’m up to 270 seeds in the collection and a 2x2.5 tent. So, I figure that I will be able to grow out several and test them. I know I can grow in small bottles quite well. I can get between 1 and 2 zips per bottle. I know 4 will fit well. 6 might be pushing the space limitations of my tent. I would like to have a little smorgasbord of weed at my disposal.

Does anybody know when the regular seeds from Mephisto are going to be available. The only thing I’ve seen is 2019. Is there any more specific information?

One thing I’d like to try in the future is some breeding. Well...more like continuing strains that I like without worrying that they’ll be discontinued or out of stock. I’ve often thought of reversing a plant and pollinating the same strain to make more feminized seeds for myself.

I don’t have any experience in this sort of thing, so any attempts that I make would be amateurish at best. I am, however, ready to put in the time and effort to learn. And I would need to pick a strain to experiment on. And I would need to get me some more equipment and another tent. I guess I better start puckering up to have this discussion with the missus.
