I took a few lower buds to sample. I will let them dry for a day or 2 on bottom of tent in a small box. I will then press and make rosin. I only smoke rosin anymore so that how I will test. Wont have a cure yet, but mostly looking to try the high. I will make live resin from these two for flavor.

Just gave them some water and pulled some leaves. Harvest is coming and I am ready. I noticed some just stupid sweet smells when moving plants, and that's saying something. I have a bad nose for cannabis plants. I dont smell much even smelling buds, but when I smell finger tips I can then smell them. But these smell when moved and wow!

The SF is getting a nice pink to her and looking good.

The Zkittlez has looked ready for awhile but wasnt. She's good to go now and will get the axe 2nd.

The WWCBD is another one shining at the end. Started turning purple and I like purple weed. Just a hint... like a dusting beautiful looking buds on her.

I left out green crack cause she is just gonna sit and finish, but these are coming down next week. I will press the samples tonight. I pressed some of my cbd crack after like 1-3 days still was damp and got great flavor. It was on par with my live resin so going to test something I've thought about since. If you press after some the moisture, but before all the "live" terpenes have evaporated in the drying process you get great flavor. Kinda like live rosin. I can only try every 3 months so haven't had a chance till now. I touched the Zkittlez to see how dry and DAMN it smelled good. So will be good test. I will update after I test, I hope tonight but my gummies are strong lol.

Looks great! I wsnt to try the zkittlez for sure..when you press the not quite dry buds. What temp do you set it qt and for how long? Also, how much yield do you sacrifice by not waiting til the 55-62 humidity range? Just bought a press and got a plant about to chop is why i ask. Would love to have some terpy stuff.

Great question, not sure yet lol. I normally press at 210 for best combo yield/flavor for anywhere from 1:30-2:45. I start at 210 and see what I get and go from there with time and temp. If you want terpy you 1st need terpy bud, then go low and slow. I will do 180 for 4 mins maybe more if still flowing. You will lose yield for sure but it about flavor. I mean your growing it so not paying store prices so you can sacrifice some bud for some good flavor rosin. Not sure I dont measure anymore what I get unless I'm making edibles. I'm going to do 210 for 1:30 and see if I leave longer or not. I have had some that didnt press well under 240 so just depends, that's the fun part experimenting.

Thanks, ive ran 3 strains so far under it. 2 liked it about 210. The third was 200. Ususlly run minute and half to 2 minutes. My pollen press came in this week. I pressed an 2.5 grams and the press made a 3 percent increase difference in yield for the fastberry. Should i pollen press semi dry buds or just press them without making it into a puck first?

No need to cure if your gonna press into rosin. I actually think it’s better if u do it only after three days drying. Girls r looking perfect as always.

Pollen presses are ok, I have 1 but I got a pre press from dabpress for $50 and it's perfect. I made one 1st and it works good, was about to make another and saw dabpress just came out with 1 the same way I was gonna make. Cost about 15-20 dollars more but I didnt have to do any work and was much h nicer than I could do. It was machined where I would be hand sand/filing worth not to have to do lol. I'll send pic in a few. Pressing is the secret to pressing. Go on YouTube watch how the pros do it. Gopressure are really good but use hash in large quantities so much better than flower. I'm not super impressed with thier presses, but that little pre press is awesome. Perfect size for 3"x5" plates.

Thanks buddy. 3 is right, I got a little impatient was to wet got high as shit but no taste. I think the heat plus water steamed away any taste lol. Shit put me out tho.

I think I got 2 dabs and 1 one left on tool. Letting the SF sample dry more to see if it helps. Its has been hit or miss doing this but when you hit, it is insane flavor. I have tried with frozen buds too. Gotta find that sweet spot while still "alive". These aren't the best pieces and not a lot so I expect better with better buds.

@Boognelson87 here is my pre press. I put parchment paper on top and bottom to keep from sticking to the press. I do same with pollen press.

Makes perfect size I use it all the time. If you can find for less than 50 get it, not sure cost now but what I paid on Amazon.

This looks too big for my press. Looks nice though. What makes it so much different than a pollen press? That parts dont break? Do you use you put that in your press then form your "brick" then remove and squish?
