Mars Hydro Grow Journal - TSW 2000

Week 12
2 down 7 to go.
The Stardawg was the first to be chopped and the Gorilla Glue a couple of days later. Both had there problems, the Stardawg took a while for the roots to take properly, she was quite loose in the soil and slow to grow. I was going to bin her but it would of been too late to start another, so I let her live :tang: and the Gorilla Glue didn't like the material the welly was made of, all the leaves turned brown and crispy pretty much straight away  it didn't affect the trichome production though, if anything it made it better, she smells delightful

Hi mate and thanks  that Fat Pete's is probably the best looking plant I've grown in the 3.8ltr, usually they get really tall and gangly. They do need watering more often than the bigger pots though, at least once a day, sometimes twice :pass:

Week 13
2 more down :woohoo1: 4 to go.
The smaller Fat Pete's Cookies came down a few days ago and the Nicole Cream was chopped yesterday. First time I've tried mainlining an auto (Nicole Cream) and it's definitely something I'll be doing again. Mainly because it was so easy to chop an trim :crying: but also the yield was quite impressive considering she was in a smallish pot, not a huge yield and It didn't look all that, but once chopped and trimmed, the bags they're drying in are feeling pretty weighty, so I'm happy enough
The last auto (Creeper) will be taken down in the next day or so. She's pretty much ready now, but every day I'm noticing the colas getting a little bigger, so I'll try and give her a tad longer. She's been on just tap water for over a week now, so she's good to go :toke:

Day 96
The last of the autos (Creeper) came down a couple of days ago :woohoo1: and once again the TSW 2000 has done it's job well :pighug: some of the fattest colas I've ever seen

Week 2
Well I'm glad I did an extra Remo Chemo just in case I had any problems  and as luck would have it, the plant with the problem is a Remo Chemo  The first set of leaves were normal, but the second ones are looking deformed, and it looks like there is only one leaf growing  I've stuck her in a little plastic pot and we'll see how she gets on.

Also I think I have bud rot in one of my Bruce Lemon Diesel solo cup girls :yoinks: it is going quite red in places and that is usually a sign. I have to put them in a dark cupboard for the 12hrs of dark, and as there is no airflow in there, I suppose it was always on the cards. Hopefully I'm wrong, but I took it down anyway and we'll see in a few days if the chopped buds start getting furry. The other two are pretty much done so they'll be taken down tomorrow, just to be safe. She smelled so strong too, stunk out the house and my eyes were burning trimming it :crying:

New girls are looking ok, mostly. A bit of browning around the edges of leaves, but hopefully they'll grow out of it.

Mainlining: Week 1
This will be the first time I've tried mainlining multiple plants :yoinks: in fact, I've only tried it twice before, once with an auto and once wih a photoperiod. The auto I tried turned out ok ish (a few posts back) not huge, but had a nice compact shape with nice fat symmetric colas :woohoo1: The photo I tried mainlining I sort of cocked up  She was looking great, a good shape with 8 symmetric bud sites, but I had to give her 6 weeks of veg time, and man did she stretch when I flipped  I had to supercrop all the branches as they were growing in to the light. A really good yield though, almost :nono: I managed to get bud rot in most of the colas :cuss:

That's the main reason I'm trying mainlining. Hopefully keep them smallish and compact, so less leaves, so hopefully  a little less moisture in the air, we'll shall see.

Mainlining Started
Day 18

20210219_120631.jpg

I waited till they had grown 5-6 nodes, then topped most at the 3rd node, but I did a couple at the 4th, then removed all the lower leaves and bud shoots.

3 days later and most are looking good  The Remo Chemo in the small plastic pot was pretty knackered before I'd started  I just find it hard killing plants :crying:

Another couple of days and I'll start tying them down

Mainlining Week 2
Day 26
Well I've had my first f#@k up  I was only untieing the string to move it up a node on my Bruce Lemon Diesel and I snapped one of the main effin branches :cuss::cuss::cuss: I quickly taped it up with a bit of silver tape and gave her a bit of a crutch to rest on, but I'll just have to leave one arm untied for now.
20210227_143422.jpg

Other than that minor misdemeanour, they're not looking too bad
20210227_095208.jpg
20210227_095218.jpg

Another day or so and they'll be ready for their final topping. I was hoping to flip them pretty much as soon as I have 8 bud sites formed on each, and by the end of the month, but with Feb only having 28 days, it's going to have to be March now :face: oh well, onwards and upwards :pass:

Day 28
All have been topped and tied now apart from the two Remo Chemo's, the bigger one should be ready to be snipped and tied tomorrow and the little deformed mother, we'll see.
So far they all are looking pretty healthy :woohoo1: even the Bruce Lemon Diesel is looking ok. I accidentally snapped one of her arms and there was only a tiny sliver of skin holding her on, and a few days later, she's looking ok with no change to growth, as yet  A few of them have got some huge assed leaves  starting to get quite bushy :pass:
