your vibe didn't rile it
It's quite a busy walkway, I figure it was lucky to encounter me and not someone else.
your vibe didn't rile it
maybe your straw berry cake isn't your heaviest, but sure has lovely buds!
cobras!. an exciting element to your environment
Yes.Was he one of those evangelical snake handler nut jobs?
I'm not that crazy.............
Licking the bowl and spoon sends me on a major trip! I think that when I make chocolates that some extra rosin sticks to the bowl and spoon. I have been locked to my chair a couple of times .First RSO* cook successfully completed.
Did the 7g of Sweet Skunk flowers.
Yesterday decarbed at 115 C for 30 min.
(* I'm using the term RSO, though it's not 100% by Rick Simpson's method...)
Used 95% ethanol, food grade.
First wash was 200 ml, mixed for 5 min.
Second wash was 200 ml, mixed for 5 ml.
Into a thin based stainless steel pot.
Strained through cheesecloth.
(Next time I shall add a strain through coffee filter.)
Into the rice cooker, double boiler type approach (not straight in).
Very quickly the ethanol / cannabinoid mix heated and started to boil.
By 40 min or so, the ethanol level was very low.
The last steps move fast, the ethanol quickly boiled off.
Extracted from the pot using a small 5 ml syringe.
Due to sediment (not strained well enough) added maybe 1.5 ml of olive oil.
This should also facilitate ease of application from the syringe.
Total extraction was about 2.5 ml.
I'm figuring strength at: 7 g x 12% to 15%* = 840 mg to 1000 mg THC.
(* That little Sweet Skunk looked really quite potent, minus losses.)
1000 mg THC in 2500 mg total oil, is 40%.
For single minimum dose of, say, 20 mg, should need 50 mg oil.
Testing soon. Was tempted to "lick the spoon", but...
it's late, still have work to do, with busy week of work and social engagements.
Next cook -- either the Honey Peach CBD or the Industrial Plant CBD.
Will be bigger quantity either way. Will add another strain, with coffee filter.
But still prob add oil at the end, to put into 10 ml dropper bottle, rather than syringe.
Love y'all!

I am really against solvents remaining in my meds but I cannot get rosin thin enough for using in a vape cartridge. So I have gone to QWET as the least offensive solvent extract. Then I thin it with terpenes. I bought a distiller to recapture the ethanol and make 190 proof ethanol from cheap vodka $8.99 for 1.75 Liters = ~ .7 Liters of 190 proof. I use dry ice to chill the frozen broken up bud and ethanol separately and then process it together for 30 minutes in dry ice shaking every 5 minutes then filter it into the distiller. Then as the ethanol is finished distilling out at 98°C; I open the unit turn it down to about 70°C and stir with a silicone spatula until it is free of water and ethanol. Fresh frozen bud has worked the best for this so far to produce a light golden product. Older cured bud comes out a little dark. It is still good for vaping.
