DutchPassion Show Grows 2024 MaraCachafa grows LemonZ

FWIW I don’t go above 4 grams a gallon even there I see signs of N tox with some strains. I don’t agree with GL theory of the nitrogen they use not being toxic to the plants. In my experience if it’s there the plants going to take it up whether they need it or not.
Also fwiw, my tap water starts at 400-450ppm and im basically giving everything at 50% recommended doses. I rarely find myself having to push beyond that.

Which kind of lights are you using mate? 400w per plant seems quite a lot. What happened with the lady with the drooling leaves, did she dry out a bit?

For the rest they are pretty good I must say  Keep it going :bighug:
There are (4) Phlizon 200w lights, (3) HLG 100w, and (2) Yuson 100w boards. I used a couple of different DLI calculators and the results all came out too low for 12 hours on, so I just put all the lights I had in there and hope for the best. It gets pretty hot in there during the day and by evening watering they're pretty dry. I'm not sure if the tip curling is windburn or too much Nitrogen or ??. Each one has a 6" fan blowing up-skirt.

I'll try cutting down the MegaCrop from 4.5 to 4 g/GL Maybe the Greenleaf feed calculator reads high to sell more nutes. I used to go all the way to 6 g/GL! Now with the kelp to help with Potassium and the phosphorous in the pH down life will be good.

At that high of ppm you probably should be cutting that tap water in half. Mine’s that high but I use RO the way it was explained to me depending what the 400 ppm is for me it is calcium carbonate and the carbonate will bind and lock everything up. So I’ve either cut my tap water by 75% or use straight RO

Their calculators always read low in nitrogen compared to MOG’s the one part or 2 part. I’ve always used both but have leaned towards MOG’s calculators over GL

Ive tried pure RO, tap water, Dechlorinated tap water, distilled, filtered etc. ive really not noticed a difference at all. In fact, my pot has gotten stronger and yields have gotten better since ive been usung tap water. Im not saying thats why, but all the learning i have accumulated has led to now, and im currently producing some of the best pot ive grown. I know certain nutrients in certain situation benefit from a low pom starting point, but in soil in particular, which is what i currently grow in, i havent noticed a difference. And with the cost of everything going up, i probably wont be experimenting anytime soon. I do use RO or Distilled water when i am dealing with germination and young seedlings. But after that, its all Dechlorinated tap for these gurls.

If i run into any problems with lockout or wierd early deficiencies, then i will def take a look at different water. I do plan on buying a cheap RO system but not anytime soon because of financial stuff lol.
