Indoor LST & Autos

I'm curious.. what do you guys think of LST'ing autos? For photos I'm in no doubt that it's beneficial, but I don't remember ever growing an auto and NOT LST'ing it.

For those of you who've done both, what do you reckon on the best method for autos.. LST them, or just let them grow tall and have a big main stem with reasonable side colas?

I would leave them grow naturally without lst,but thats just my opinion.

I believe LST can improve yields. I just prefer the structure of an untouched plant.
I was thinking of getting some LBH haze and breaking out the whips and chains. One day.

From what I read, you want to keep the stress at the minimum. There's no way you can vine-like train an auto, like you can with photos.

That IS interesting, CCD. I started LST'ing a super cali haze last week for fun, she showed she didn't like it, got yellow and all, but I'm not done with her yet lol

This one's 22 days from germ and so far she's spiralling ok. She probably won't grow much more before she starts to flower but I'm hoping to get a pretty cola-filled canopy covering the pot. I might tie her main stem down one more time and wait for another internode to push through for the light, but the plan is for her main cola to dominate one side of the pot while her side-stems cover the other.

I do wonder what she would have been like today had I not trained her.

I suppose you could consider this thread their journal. I've literally just sat down from swapping over the photos with autos in their tents and now have all the autos in the main tent under a 600w 7200k MH bulb 24/7. Hopefully that'll help the vegging ones and boost trich production on the flowering ones. It's just a better overall environment in that tent anyway.

So I'll keep updating every few days here with snaps and stuff and you can enjoy the show hopefully. :smokebuds:.
