Indoor LOWRYDER 2 first grow UK

DAY 13/14
Both plants were fed 2/3 days ago, plant 2 responded by spitting out new growth everywhere except the main stem which contained brown diseased growth and it was like stillborn... don't no what happened, maybe when I was hooking I probable squeezed it or something IDK...

Below is plant two, i managed to put the big fan leaves down and the new shoots up as the large fan leaves were creating problems for the lil ones...

So....this is number two (MY FAVOURITE ONE...BUT DON'T TELL NUMBER ONE THAT....SHE WILL NOT GIMME ANY BUDS) again, major fan leaves tucked and hooked below the new growth shoots...i see 4 main branches that's why it looks messy.

WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS GOING FORWARD? HOW DO I MANAGE LST AND THE SMALL SHOOTS THAT NEED LIGHT? I HAVE FOUND IT TOUGH SO FAR, THE SMALL SHOOTS NEED TO BE EXPOSED TO THE LIGHT COZ THE BIG FUCKERS TAKE ALL THE GOODNESS FROM THE CFL (NOT THAT THERE IS MUCH)....I'M GOING TO CIRCLE AROUND THE POT ONCE I REACH THE EDGE COZ IT'S GNA B HARD DOING IT THE WAY OTHERS HAVE DONE, THERE ARE SO MANY STEMS CLOSER TO THE SOIL SIDE THAT NEED TO BE BENT OUT OR REMOVED IDK WHICH ONE RIGHT NOW...

Someone help odour control experts only...

I came to see my 14 day old babies and the room stank...sods law i had my mum come ask me as i got home theres a really strange smell coming from the room did u spill anything on the carpet?

I need cheap effective odour control methods..
My cab cant support exhaust fans and i aint got the cash for it but seriously at day 14 not even flowering and it reaked...electric fabreeze? Products like ona gel? Gimme ideas need to get it sorted today...

If at day 14 you have problems with odour and cannot fit/afford carbon extraction my advice would be composting the plants and waiting till you can get some cash together

If you go cheap, expect to pay more in the long run bro. Ona will only help, trust me, you need carbon filtration or you are screwed. Rhino is an awesome brand that gets the job done.

And honestly, although I'm not as serious as the last two posts, it's not my business, but imho it's kind of bad karma growing in your mothers house without her knowing.

ps, ever thought about puting the fan outside the cab? Believe me buddy, you WILL need carbon filtration sooner or later.

Think about this, before you put yourself and your mother in REAL potential danger.

Rhino pro fan & filter kits are around £100 on ebay. You'll get a 4" rhino fan, 4" pro filter plus ducting. I'm sure i've seen em cheaper but that's probably for rhino hobby.

Perhaps you could get a cheap PC fan and some ducting, have the air transferred to a container of ONA.

I've also seen someone put those water jelly crystals in a bucket, pour in some ONA, drill holes on the sides and attach a cheap fan on top. This way the smelly air from the room is being pulled through the bucket and neutralized.
Then again, people often advice against having ONA even touch the same air that goes to your plants. Go and tell :dunno:


But yeah, a carbon scrubber is the most solid option. You can make one affordably but I for one am just too lazy to bother.
If you live in a rural area I guess you can also try to pump the air straight out of the window.

In all of the cases, negative pressure inside of the grow space seems to be the key to having no odors escape.

I'm not an odor expert but you never know when you can be of help so...

don't bother with the pc fan just not good for drawing through a filter inline fans your choice the motors are designed for it (hope you don't mind me chipping in weiner). If you got to go cheap and want an inline go for the black orchid 4"

Hey!
Don't want to rain on your parade but I have to agree with the rest of the folks. If you are growing in a region of the world where it is NOT legal to grow (most everywhere) you are putting you and your entire family at risk. They can seize your assets and that can include the home you are living in. In the US they can do that without you being convicted of a crime!!
So, stop now or make a serious effort to get the odor under control. Carbon filtration, ONA buckets, ozone generators... Do some homework, sell some of your belongings, do whatever it takes to get it dealt with. I would use filtration in the room with the tent and an ONA bucket outside of the room where people are. I know from first hand experience that the ONA will deodorize your plant and it will have no smell or taste. Not a good thing.
Good luck I hope you can come up with an appropriate solution to this dilemma.
