If you ph to about the center of the range, the plant will emit various sugars back to the microbes and shift the ph to where it needs to be for what the plant needs. I only adjust if it gets out of the range and then I shoot for the center again.
I'm in coco so pH adjusting is a regular thing. Most nutes will rise in pH so I set it low, let it rise, pH back down. Current nutes don't rise as much so I shoot for middle
The key take away from the Grow Shop chart to me is that in soil if you hold at 6.5 steady through an entire grow all the nutrients are available. In any other media you refer to the hydro chart and you have to have some drift or you will have issues, as there is no spot in the range where all nutes are available.
