@Mañ'O'Green, Funny you are privy to the Gold Fever show! Met the guy randomly in Placerville and started watching the show after that. Guy cracked me up. Have a friend in Pollock Pines, just up the mountain from Placerville. Would go up after the runoff wound down and go picking with him. He has a sluice box setup and suction motor thing. Also, we would always bring pans when hangin out on the American River downing beers. Went out in Calaveras County and a couple places way up north with that guy
Sux I sold all the stuff I found. Gold was 350 an oz back then. Cheaper than weed at the time!

Where would you guys go?

Thanks and her pickles and salsa actually sell way more then the jams do now! She started with jam and expanded so already had the business name!:rofl:

She do bread and butter pickles? I put a hurting on those things when baked! There's a little mountain store here that makes really good ones and always have a jar of Bubbies on hand.

That intro always cracked me up! Not sure if it still airs or not. It was on some cable outdoor/hunting channel where I was in Cali. Hitting the hay, hope you're doin well!

I will be 44 in February and i literally over a 4 day span last week binge watched the entire 9 episodes of Star Wars! Think i had only seen first 3 and whichever one (maybe episode 7 but hell if I remember) where this dude showed up!

I've never actually sat through and paid attention for the entire movie of any of them. I know I've seen I think three maybe 4 I don't know.
Didn't they just totally Screwed around and mess up the very last one?

I started getting aches and stuff a couple of years back and I went to the docs so he could tell me what I already knew right, lose weight, exercise bla bla you know the drill, or you don't.
He told me something interesting just two weeks back though. I have done the right thing in a way waiting with weight training and such, I'm in better shape than I have been all my adult life now (it's relative right, I'm not in GOOD SHAPE as a general statement, but for ME, I am in my prime no doubt) and I feel amazing. Never hungry anymore, it's strange, I have started missing out on meals and forgetting to eat. I'm good, starvation is far off, lol.

Did the doc say smoke... Less? Nah, must be getting him mixed up with someone 🤷

People who start training early are worn out at my age.

I have lost 100lbs in a year. Still not skinny 😅 But from a health standpoint it's pretty good. And for ME, as a personal accomplishment, it is outstanding.

Just needed to brag a bit. Hope everyone HAS AN AMAZING FRIDAY!

LOVE AND RESPECT

    Well Done you...
I backtracked posts from when he was last on here to see if one of us had pissed him off or something. He disappeared right after he asked to be removed from the cultivators club because he wasn't going to do a review in the required format. Sometimes his ptsd reacts, hope he comes back
I can relate to him through that. I hope he is ok. From what little I know I love the Tank.

He is one of a couple of members here I almost read like books, through the profile to find a red thread in that individuals growing and learn from them.

You hear that @Frankthetank you are missed.
