Yes, it is the carbohydrates that is doing the work here. The Bud Candy has some types I cannot get anywhere else. There are several things happening, the plant stops sending carbs out of the roots in the last weeks as it directs everything to the flowers. This stops "feeding the microbes" so they stop producing nutrients and begin to go dormant, adding carbs at this stage keeps them active. Then, some of the carbs are taken into the plant directly via the roots. All of this contributes to the formation of Terps and cannabinoids. It is effective in all growing styles. It is only needed in the last weeks so don't fall in to the trap of adding stuff to the grow to support the vendor.Would you say it's the extra carbs that pumps your terpenes? To my understanding Bud Candy is sugars basically, no?
I am wondering because I have no experience in adding sugars to soil but I would like to try, seems like a cheap enough experiment if nothing else.
