Dude you can make a drip system super cheap. I copied Lil Dabs setup for my first grow. Worked great. Coco coir with a small reservoir, pump, hydro halo, and a decent timer with control down to the second. Took a little bit of fiddling with the "on" time for the pump to see how much it moved. Ended up setting it to 35 seconds twice a day. Just had to check runoff and keep the res full. I did make a couple bit batches and it lasted about a week. Basically cruise control!

I got these trays I saw Dab using: Ran a hose to the floor drain for all the runoff. Someone pointed out the good idea to catch it all the first few days to check runoff amounts and make sure I was pushing enough through.

EDIT: If you want I can check all the parts and post it up?
I really like what The Bucket Company has but damn it's expensive. Those Ez-Pz drainage trays look awesome. I may have to grab those and just build a drip irrigation system.

Get a flood table locally if you can shipping is expensive. If indoors where water can be a problem get a flood table for the floor that can hold more water than is in your system. This way if something fails all of the water can be contained in the floor flood pan.
The smallest pump in the res is a stir pump, then the fertigation pump simple plumbing to the drip emmiters and a timer.

How are things with you Mossy?

Bit hmmmm at the minute.......we got the storms but not the mass flooding...but you feel guilty being safe with minimum damage when so many people have been killed a few miles away. :karmacloud:

Also..it is only 5 years since it did come through here and we lost almost everything...so .. unsettled..

Hopefully...the improvements they made since it happened here keeps us safe. You never know until it Hits.....:pass:

Apparently we have more coming......:headbang:...so we'll see.
