Just watched a video on a guy testing leakage under high power transmission lines. Set up a wire on wooden posts, hooked it to a bridge rectifier and charged a large capacitor up to over 900 volts. Wondering if a setup could be designed to charge a bank of batteries for small off grid homesteading.
Or it might be complete bunk.
He had quite a few replies stating he'd get sued by the power company. Counter suit and liken it to a paint and body shop not doing anything to prevent overspray from getting on neighbour's, homes cars etc
