I took this off an email from the tree place about the thujas….. perhaps yours are about to take off a bit..

Hopefully. Mine grew about 1' total in the first 2 years. They've grown about 2' this summer. But this is the first year they've gotten daily irrigation

The only fried tomato I've ever seen around here (NE USA) is green tomatoes, sliced and breaded. Yum. Can you share the recipe for your Aussie fried ripe tomatoes?

It could not be simpler, put some oil in a frying over med high heat add sliced tomatoes, salt and pepper. I use olive oil. Turn once and cook to your desired doneness.
