Since I haven't used grow dots, but seen them then noticed osmocote+ on the shelf, read the label well and bought it I can only say grow dots is the reason I tried the osmocote+ .

Grow dots are like knockoff biotabs aren't they? Can't get biotabs in the US but the Europeans seem to love them. Haven't seen a lot of people using grow dots
