Right on man thank you. I saw problems with fungus gnats but that was in a large Tray2Grow so I was hoping it was a non problem in a small 3gal pot. I’m thinking of trying it with the autopot since it’s water only
Haven't even seen one. And I got my bag from Amazon during black Friday..

That’s great! Since we’re not many miles apart I’m assuming our water crappiness is pretty equal. Are you using tap or ro? And what are you ph’ing it to?

Yeah I have pretty hard water here over 200 i believe. I still use tap and honestly I was doing the whole ph thing but was seeing issues and wanted to narrow it down so I took @Frankthetank's advice and stopped worrying about ph. My water comes out at 7.0 always. My nutes always bring it down to 6.4 to 6.8 depending on how much I'm feeding so on non feeding days I don't ph and since I started doing it like that I notice way less issues. Still getting some issues but not as quickly as they were happening before. Instead of week 4 or 5 I'm not seeing issues till week 8 or 9 and it's nothing that's affecting buds or yield at this point so for now I'm just ignoring my ph...:pass:

We went 80miles one way and am not in my home state anymore. I’ve been to Texas the only reason it take so long to get any where is cause the road infrastructure is stupid af can’t there from here any where you go
Well, that sort of because Texas is. big! :eyebrows::eyebrows::haha::pass:

My wife is looking into getting into sourdough bread. Are you keeping it on the counter and feeding every day or keeping it in the fridge? :pass:
right now is the ideal baking time of the year. The house is ~68°F and the starter is living on the counter in a space that has little to no draft. I am feeding every two or three days now. It gets a nice orange layer and is getting a nice depth to it. I could really tell it was SD baking today. In the summer it will live in the refrigerator and come out on vacation when I need it. I used it at ~23% of the total dry weight.

I will freeze some starter because it is easy to fook-up in the summer. Then it is easier to get going again.

Yeah I’ve always been real casual myself, I check with drops once a week but I was wondering if it was different in a water only situation with no nutes at all. My water is 400 over here.
Thanks bro

Yeah i haven't gotten to that point yet but I'll let you know. Im using a 3 gallon pot and from what everyone here says I'll still have to feed but my BAS vs HF grow I'm running now with Naptown by nightowl is going to tell me how much longer it will last than HF. Usually by day 30 I NEED to feed in HF. Sometimes I start earlier but only if I'm seeing signs that I need to. With HF the first 30 days I just give straight tap water at 7.0, the soil seems to work it out. So far the BAS is taking it well as the plant looks a little better than the one in HF. As of now it looks like I got pretty similar phenos so I think this will be a good side by side to really see the difference between the 2 soils.
