Further update….. i was wrong and not only did my sister mother in law have no desire to cook the Mexican feast this year (since she basically makes it herself) and since my sister was at work on thanksgiving and the leftovers she got from her bro in law were total trash so we are indeed having honey ham for dinner tomorrow! Fine with me as i love the hell outta some ham! :thumbsup:
 

She made these for me, by the way. All 5 dozen. That's 60, for those that don't own a beaded abacus. Or maybe you did own a beaded abacus, but you repurposed it to spice up your dying marriage. Who are any of we to judge?

..I've had a lot of eggnog.
 
Starting thew chow festivities: Chicken liver pate, pickles/pickled peppers, mustard. fig jam, grilled bread. Fried green tomatoes w/ pimento cheese, pickled peppers and yuzu reduction, Fried oyster caesar w/ fresh artichokes

..I've had a lot of eggnog.

Most banks in SF have abacus in them. Pretty cool. An older Chinese gentleman taught me how to use them one afternoon
