It's strange I haven't tried it, but could I press using a benchwise and two stainless plates just to try out?

The trick is trying to maintain a constant heat while you press for 5-7 mins. Im sure you can get it done but is it worth it to use up a bunch of good flower? Probably not but it's fun to have some hash though.
