Thanks everyone for the good wishes

My mother, sister and I have been having this conversation for many years, since her kidneys started failing. Mom has "do not resuscitate" instructions.

Of course we accept this. As a social service worker I have seen the effects of relatives' prolonged suffering on clients and the burden on health care.

The day will come and I won't like it. In the meantime it is about QUALITY of life.

Yup...my stepdad wanted to die at home...he didn't want to die in a hospital..and they both knew and agreed it...but my mother wasn't getting it.. every time his symptoms worsened she phoned an ambulance...

Natural isn't it... ....hard to watch a loved one die without doing something.......

But they ended up taking him to hospital for a few days just to give him the chance to leave...he wasn't gonna get that chance at home.

Thanks for the Happy Caturday @Mossy I have been so busy in the grow space that Caturday was not on my mind.

I got the new carbon scrubber in place and now I need to take five.

Lights, scrubber and fan cleaned and back up. Floor clean. Res and pan still to go..........

My niece-in-law is cooking 3 times a day while the Mrs is recuperating. I could get used to this. Lunch was grilled ahi tuna steak, homemade soup, mango salad, papas choreadas (drizzled boiled taters):
