I am in a unique position where i will be making more money and paying less rent than when i was working full time. Gonna dedicate the time to finding a better job and spending the winter break with my Kids. I consider myself very lucky, believe me it is not lost on me.

Yeah.......I know..... you get a lot more out of life when you appreciate what you've got.

All these end of life surveys say people always Wish they spent more time with their family.... no-one said they Wished they'd spent more time at work......

Also the winter plants outdoors are doing alot better than i thought they would. It was an experiment and i dont think ill be growing when its this cold again lol.

They Do ...you aren't going to get as much bud as on full season...but hey....

that's free bud with no Lecky costs....and...winter grown bud Tastes Better...

My mom's Dr. wrote a letter to her case worker. She opens with "end-stage congestive heart failure"

We knew it was getting pretty bad but now it has that final label. I try not to believe google but they say it means the patient is likely to die within 6 to 12 months.

Who knows maybe she has a couple more years in her. Regardless it will happen when it happens.

I'm sorry @VitaMan .. 'fraid it is going to happen to us all.


Stepdad got the same diagnosis and lasted over the year..but didn't make 2.

Now would be the time to have a full and frank discussion...if you can...about what she wants to happen.

It's all about her now. Bless her..

Life moving along, gotta do a Walmart order this morning, so much easier on me to do it that way than driving 30 miles each way then dealing with the people.
Then I'll check the progress of the divorce. Then see if I can find a back posture brace, DiL thinks it could help me with a lot of this pain.
